I've got a set of 29" WTB Nano tires with good tread left.  I got them from AntonioGG but they didn't work out for me.  You're welcome to them for free if you want.  If you have time and bring beer, we could even see about setting you up with ghetto tubeless assuming the rims work.

What do you charge for a set of kydex frame protection?  I'm picking up my new Transition Smuggler today or tomorrow and considering the same things as the OP.

Yeah, the year I rode it I passed 3 broken chains as I was climbing Smokey Valley.  I used to think Beauford was steep.

Were you the one that bought that smokin deal on the 2018?  I went up there to demo it on Tuesday with the plans of buying it that night - they told me it sold on Sunday to some guy that came in to demo it and he liked it so much he took it home.

What I liked about it in Bentonville is that it just wanted to fly off every little bump.  The front end was light and it seemed like it would be pretty fun both up and down the ledges we have here.

Where did you test ride it and what were your thoughts?

Anybody riding  a Transition Smuggler?  I demo'd one at OuterBike Bentonville and, out of the 10 bikes I rode, it was far and away the most fun.  I'm hoping to demo one on the local trails just to confirm that it's a good fit with the technical stuff around here.  Just waiting for Peddler to get one in ... and the trails to be dry enough for a test ride.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any experience with the bike or the brand.

I was told it was 3 inches.  I just looked it up on wunderground (thanks to the rain accumulation thread in Trail Conditions) and it was only half an inch.

I did however see muddy bikes.

The area got about 3 inches of rain Sunday morning.  I wasn't at Walnut but saw bikes leaving there absolutely caked in mud.

Yeah, I think we found our culprit.

What do y'all think?  Will the trails be dry enough for a ride before the next rain hits on Saturday?

You guys are too quiet - Are the trails dry enough to ride?  Anybody going tonight?

Any chance any of these trails will be rideable this evening or tomorrow?  My family really wants me to go ride!
