  1. Any opened up green space will not change demand for close in swimming holes. You could open up all BCP and it wouldn't draw the crowds away from Barton Creek, maybe some bikers and hikers. Remember they did just pave a path from downtown right to Twin Falls access, and a bridge from the other side too. Plus parks were preferred to lockdown blues, with sun and exercise being touted as safe and good mental health decisions.

I was riding along Shoal Creek between 7th and 6th St last week. The sidewalk is narrow there with a  rock face on the west side and a several drop directly into the creek on the east.  Barely enough room for two people to pass and I would be passing on the "drop directly into the creek side," so a little concerned about passing a woman who was jogging with ear buds in.  Yelled, rang the damn bell,  got right beside her and yelled top volume directly into her ear (bud) that I was trying to pass and she never heard me. She was chuffing along like a damn freight train and I'm not sure she really processed me when I finally passed her.  Oblivion doesn't quite capture her state.

Get some chariot hubs and a whip!

  3. So Lost Creek is the jam now? If the City can't even spend for poop/trash patrols, or protect the turnaround from broken car windows, how are they gonna enforce this. It just keeps the drunken groups of kids out. I love how the city grows and gets more and more taxes, while the Trails Foundation has to beg and have fundraisers to plant some grasses......holy cow, what Asses!
