Indeed, rented a bike and  rode for a day of fantastic train / tram / gondola lift assist with fantastic views of Matterhorn (and a bunch of other mountains).  Not represented in the photos, but there was a pretty crazy cowbell serenade on one trail.

This is the setup we used at big bend.  We basically used a small backpack, front roll and my bike had a tail bag.  The frame bags had the heaviest stuff with the water getting as low slung as we could get away with.  Keep the front bag lighter.

I bought a big Quincy air compressor on the cheap (er) from them.  Overall I agree it is mixed like RedRider said.  They carry a few items that are harder to find, mainly in the large equipment category.

Cleaning out the garage.  This is the first version, so some large bikes don't fit very well, so we upgraded to a new one.  

Walnut Creek was in good shape today at lunch.  

Looks like the trail is already gone...

I'd say go for a California Air.  Super quiet.  It took me a couple days to notice I left it on in the garage.
