There were some other bootleg trails right at the intersection of 610 and Memorial sometime around 02 or 03 a friend and I rode. I think they were pretty short lived but fun, fast and flowy with a couple steep dips to fly out jumps.

Bee in the car?
I used to have a 2002 V8 Explorer back when I had to tow a trailer, and it had a limited slip diff. It was lively to drive when it was wet and fun to get sideways.
The unlimited slip differential.

anyone remember the glory days of memorial park back in the nineties? those concrete paver drop-ins? you could be at the top of the drop-in and not be able to see it near the bottom. steep!!
HoChiMin trail. Rode my share there 86-88, they were pretty much the only game in town. 91-92 right before I moved to Austin I lived on Dairy Ashford across the street from Stratford HS and rode the anthills all the time. It smelled like raw sewage back then too, like most bike trails in Houston.

I couldn't give 2 shits if someone wants to ride an ebike, onewheel, or a scooter. They make all of us look way cooler.

It was all good when I rode this morn. Was starting to get pretty packed when I headed out around noon.
I don’t know who’s doing some of the maintenance out there, but you have to watch out for some of the holes from them “fixing” it. The long downhill after mark’s art has a deep square edged “fix” right at the bottom. Almost ate it on a night ride last week.

Also, Seth scared me into doing away with the carbon bars and I replaced them with the Spank Vibrocores everyone was raving about a couple months ago.

Does replacing 6 pivot bushings and a rocker pivot count for anything?
I replaced all of the bearings on my mach6 and installed the upgraded linkage, a month ago. Maybe this weekend

Anyone know what the trail conditions are today? Hoping to get a ride in before the next turdfloater, maybe hit the skate park too.

I fail to see the connection between screwdrivers and birth rates.

I just saw Park is now making jis screwdrivers.https://www.parktool.com/product/derailleur-screwdriver-dsd-2?category=General Shop Tools.
A couple years ago I bought a set of these(different brand) to use on an old 80s Honda CB I was rebuilding and the fit and bite was way better than any craftsman or snap-on phillips head I had. I use these pretty much exclusively on bicycles now and never have fit problems or stripped screw heads. These go a little deeper into the screw making already bunged up screw heads a little easier to deal with. One of the best upgrades you can do for your tool box for under 20 bucks, this is the set I have.

Watch lane 1 come unclipped out of the gate.
-
Go to a bmx race and you'll notice most everyone in the intermediate and expert classes are clipped. They're a definite power advantage coming out of the gate and down the first straight. They also make it easier to keep you're feet on the pedals when bouncing through a steep and deep whoop section at warp speed.

It's really a matter of preference. I believe you should ride whatever you are comfortable with. I ride my mtb clipped in 95% of the time and clipping out when needed is second nature. I bought my first pair of 737s in 91. I have a pair of Saint pedals I throw on when I take the neighborhood kids to wheelie school.

Larry. How does it feel to have started a clips vs. flats thread in the year 2019?

That's a purty bike, probably a better ride also.
