You already blow through the Goodyear tires, at least on the back?
The Goodyears still had life left but I’ve been doing much more ride to the ride and I don’t like them on pavement. Ardents are better in that regard, probably go to lkons eventually

Those people are some odd sorts.
Ran into a pack of them at searight on my cross bike and got the lecture on how i was on the wrong trail etc. Humbly apologized and began turning around to head back but they continued lecturing me on how "they wouldn't want me to end up getting hit by a flying disc" in a taunting and sarcastic tone. At that point i'd had enough and told them its fucking called frisbee. fucking frisbee and who the fuck takes a fucking frisbee seriously and while you're at it, go fuck yourselves. They backed down.
Im fine with being told I'm in the wrong and I'll own up to it and apologize but when I start getting lectured or condescended after doing so, its fucking on.
anger management disco rant/off😆
Haha.. I’m sure you totally killed their buzz after that 😂

What time were you out there? I rode out there pretty early Sunday and actually commented how nice and empty it was at the creek crossings. Of course, staying off the main trail helps. It was also a chilly morning and perfect afternoon, so the crowd probably reflected that.
Was afternoon prime time for the masses, probably where I went wrong. Side trails were better than main for sure

Nice, I’m guessing hardly any traffic either. My ride Sunday on the bcgb was miserable with people everywhere causing me to slow or stop constantly

you just gotta shralp dat berm with some steez brah!... nah jk new tires I adjust psi where all my weight on the heel of my hand on tire gives about halfway/three quarters to rim compression on tire. Then measure, ride and adjust as needed. Cornering I exaggerate lean to determine break point and then work from there Wahla 😀

Welcome txtraining!
i’d recommend the fork in the link below, it’s an upgrade and being an air fork you can adjust it to your preferred stiffness

way back 2012ish I could ride Deception (1/4 notch) on my Cross\gravel grinder bike. there's no way now, either i'm just too soft now or there've been a lot of changes over the years

haha agreed, I'm in process of gathering the courage for a wimpy 4ftish to incline drop

what height would these new drops be considered on snail? like the one that crosses over the middle now, the elbow one and the one on high line. I'm guessing the original drops down the middle line are considered 2 footers?

Both, sometimes you gotta stop, enjoy the view and take a photo

Blackburn big switch, picked it up recently and really like it. Seems to be well thought out and stows in a wallet that goes well in shorts pocket.
