previous generations threw down their own actual lives and lost sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and friends to fight Nazis. the current snowflake generation can't be bothered to wear a damn mask. what a bunch of entitled crybabies. your forebears would be ashamed of you and embarrassed that they didn't pass along that sense of community mindedness.

Snowflakes wear the mask. And they shame whoever doesn’t. Please don’t imply that men who ran to their deaths on D-day would wear a mask. They faced a very real threat. Today’s snowflakes face social media scare tactics! Keyboard warriors. The truth is coming out.

  2. So...where are we? I’ve read that hydroxychloriquine (or whatever it’s called) actually works to prevent COVID. Also have read that the numbers of infections has been mixed with numbers of antibodies (or whatever it’s called) so that’s wrong. Recently, there seems to be a lot of holes shot in the fear factor of covid. Like, maybe it’s not as big of a deal that Dr Fauci had hoped. I’ve also read that Iran has a lot of cases, yet, they wear masks as part of their attire.... I’m sure I’m wrong. I’m sure all you educated folks will set me straight!! Let’s hear it!

Did y'all go eat at Sombrero Rosa?  I think the owner was a relative of the Taco Cabana family.  It was there or Mr. Gatis for us for lunch once we were allowed to leave HS for lunch.

We called it Sombro. Good cheap food!

Holy crap this is getting strange.  I grew up in Hollywood Park, my mom still lives there (and as you already know I graduated 90').  We've had to overlap at some points.

Yeah. This is weird! My folks moved from HP in 92. I wish my mom still had that house. We lived on the same street as the pool. Used to go down there and crawl under the fence and mess around on the golf course. I’m sure we knew some of the same people!

    "the death loop"

    😁

I knew a girl when I was in elementary school who was hit by a car on “the death loop”. I grew up in Hollywood Park. I remember when stone oak wasn’t there. Looks totally different now.

If we all believe that we can't solve these problems and there is no point in trying, guess what?  There is no point in trying.  However, I think that we can solve them and I'm not going to succumb to the negative hype out there.  It's just as bad as the 'life will go back to normal' hype.

    Well said.

square one he's a fraud for calling himself a board certified doctor. he's not. After his 911 responders vote, there's not enough neighbors out there for randy boi. His hypocrisy laden voting record defies all logic.

my hostility is focused at any and all dishonest, feckless, craven leaders regardless what color tie they wear. that includes fauci as well.

So, you didn’t listen to it? Ok. Got it.

Effortless. On normal Tylenol and Advil with no pain. I had more pain when the issue hit on a ride than I did post surgery. ~4 weeks and I will be on a bike, ~8 weeks and I will be able to ride trails. But still won’t be on trails 😞

Glad to hear it went well!

No. I assume you don't give a shit about anyone but yourself. Killing others is just unfortunately going to be the result. Maybe not for you. Even likely not you. But someone like you. As I've said: petulant, self-centered, selfish.

Not doing "what I'm told"...doing what is "right" but not for me. For everyone else, including you.

You clearly haven’t read anything that I’ve said lately. I am WAY more concerned about us as Americans than I am about a mask. Self centered? Look in the mirror bro.

Do what you gotta do. Wear your mask. Obey. I realize it’s easier for you to feel like you’re doing your part and saving society one mask at a time. It’s hard to be the one who doubts. People think you’re crazy. They say you’re selfish. People have been conditioned for this.

This right here shows you have no understanding at all,.  I'm not pissing and moaning about being disagreed with. At all. But seems you really can't understand that.

No. I understand completely. I refuse to wear a mask. You assume I’m out to kill your whole family. It’s over dramatic. You fly off the handle and call people names because we don’t bury our heads in the sand like you do. Good luck with that bud. Get back in line. Do as you’re told.

I know the man does not have my best interests in mind.

However, isnt more of the medical and scientific community that are suggesting the masks? Not just here but across the world.

I tend to think of it as a medical and scientific corporation. Rather than a community.
