You’re probably right. I’ll stick with a machete and wasp spray.

I’m going on a mostly solo 3 week riding and car camping trip through New Mexico, Colorado and maybe Utah. Should I buy a pistol? If so, what kind do you recommend? I’m not a gun guy, but I know how handle one and can shoot. I’m concerned about driving with a gun and leaving it in my vehicle while out riding. Thoughts?
