What's going on here?
I moved my bike after a brief shower over the Angel Fire parking lot.

We have a dog trailer and a dog carrier (backpack) so we are set there. The biggest reason to take the urban bike is that it will probably be locked up outside (we have a bike cover.) not gonna lock up the squishy for a month outside and expect it to be there by the end of the trip.
we are pretty much set on the bike configs, all I need at this point is the right tire recommendation.
My bike usually shares the guest room. Have a good time.

If I was you, I’d bring my best bike and drag the dog around with that… There’s plenty to ride close to town and I wouldn’t want to be under biked if I was there for a month.

I was lucky enough to get a spare rockshox unit when BSS closed.

What price point are you looking for?

Anyone have any recommendations for a Specialized/Fox Brain rear shock service? AFAIK there are no local service options. A year or so ago 812 was planning to get the tools to do the service but that doesn't appear to be an option any time soon.
I am considering sending it to Risse.

You can start here, but they’ll probably ship it to Specialized for service. Chase worked for BSS and moved over when they “opened” a Specialized shop here. CP and Bike Farm should also be able to help you out since they both carry Specialized.

I’m planning a trip with my family to bentonville in august. It will be my wife and I and our 2 sons (2 and 6). Any thoughts on the best area to get a house rental? I’m looking at downtown bentonville just so that we can walk places. But I’ve never been before so I’m flying blind. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I think downtown Bentonville would be perfect for your first time there.

Possibly heading to Jackson Hole in August with a stop in Laramie. Any recommendations for pedal friendly trails in Laramie? Grassy.

I have a buddy that was contemplating buying a used bike a while back. I'm not sure if he's still in the market or whether this bike will fit him. He's probably 5'10". Any thoughts on if this might fit him?
He’s on the cusp of medium or large and will depend on his reach. It has a pretty long stem that could be changed out to help with the reach.

You can always get a drink at CraigO’s or at Doc’s Backyard.

Lived out there and never rode it. Winsor down to the Tesuque store for beer and burgers was always one of my favorites.
That’s a good time and I’m sure we’ll do it again.

It looks like a lot of fun from what I’ve watched on YouTube.

Anyone ridden there? Is it worth doing while in Santa Fe for couple days?
