Ugh, that and the Avery Ranch intersection is my way to Brushy from the house. Wonder what happened? There is a solid crosswalk at both intersections. I only cross "in the lane of traffic" vs. on the crosswalk.
Agreed will be glad when the Ped bridge goes up. They are currently building the park on the west side of S. Bell, and this will happen more often as people try and travel between the parks.

Bought the bike in Dec 2019 - going to see if Velorangutan can talk to Raceface about warranty. I know - longshot. But, in the meantime - might https://austin.craigslist.org/bop/d/austin-wtb-29-super-boost-wheelset/7379165159.html
Since I seem to be the only fool with superboost!

Sent you a PM. Depending on what you need, I have a friend who has a spare rear wheel he wants to sell.
Responded.

I do like the Evan Williams. Even the 80 proof stuff is good.

Looks like our newest park in Wilco is under construction (Lakeline Park). That means, the Redline trail from Cypress creek road around the south side of Muir lake to the apartment complex is now destroyed and dotted with siltfences. Sucks, but nice to see the park moving forward. I know this is somewhat late, but just realize you can't connect them anymore. You MIGHT be able to stay on doubletrack on the north side of the lake and cross the dam to achieve the same thing. Funny that the southside concrete trail will pretty much mimic our original singletrak
Oh, and look at the special projects tied to that and Brushy Creek Trail:
- The YMCA was awarded funding towards a pedestrian bridge at Twin Lakes Park.
- The City of Cedar Park Parks Department was awarded funding towards a trail connection project between Lakeline Park and Twin Lakes Park.
- Trail extension from Southwest Williamson County Regional Park towards Lake Georgetown
- Trail extension from Southwest Williamson County Regional Park towards Brushy Creek Regional Trail
Awesome stuff - we will have more connected H&B trail!
Barry - imagine your epic northy enchilada, but no roads!

I did this one year. It's a cool, fun event to help in. @Shinerider, post up your Strava from last year!

What's the course? Hike/Bike Path? Single Track?
Open fields and gravel path around CPHS. Nothing even remotely difficult.

All - I am looking for biking volunteers for the CPHS fun run on Sept 11th. Using MTB's, we are either the rabbit and the sweep for each heat of the race. It is in the morning (6am IIRC), till about noonish. Normally, we have at least one rabbit (2 years ago, I got a total of 25 miles being the rabbit for all of the races - quite the workout!). If we have 2 rabbits, and 2 sweeps, we can rotate thru and have a fun morning. It is a great volunteer opportunity to help out these young runners! Contact me if available. Images of past events (one with Dirtface who got me into doing it 4 years ago) and last year when my son was a sweep and YES, I have bunny ears and a tail!

Interestingly, there is also an abandoned house here: https://goo.gl/maps/AXBVs6jwoN951EeGA
Looks much newer, but still along Bull Creek, behind the cemetery.

With tire inserts, I have friends that run around 10psi.

Certainly I want hydraulic on my gravel rig because I ride a ton of singletrack on it. But I really feel the
needdesire for hydraulic on the road as well, particularly on some of those hills along the TdH, and what I call "fun hills" in the West Lake Hills area. I remember during the TdH last year I was riding with a group for a bit as we all hammered down a hill to be greeted with a kind of blind and near 90° curve at the bottom. Everyone agreed that we were super happy for really strong stoppers.Yeah, but I LOVE your dropper setup. I would love a dual control/dropper setup for my SS grinder.

I rode from Cedar Park down Shoal yesterday. Did a lap around Town Lake. On the trip back north - I was pretty overheated (it was around 2:30 at that point). Stopped off at Tony's to refill on H20 and barely made it back without calling for a pickup. Definitely not my best decision making going out too late in the morning.

I just moved my cheap eBay ring to a crank set with a power meter. Will see if there is much difference on some of the hills on my ride to the ride route. Will report back.
The feeling is subtle though, I had it initially clocked wrong my 90* and I could certainly tell then.
Might have to check my clocking. This one doesn't have the dimple to show where to put it relative to the crank arm.

I have a cheap amazon oval on the SS gravel bike. Can't tell the difference between that and a round ring. Strange.
