Chamberlain MyQ. This mounts to your ceiling next to your garage door opener, works with most recent models. You download an app and you can then use your phone to open and close the garage. Great if you ride from your house regularly. Or if you are an old guy like me and get 2 miles away and say "did I close the garage door?"

Here is what it can do: https://www.amazon.com/Chamberlain-MYQ-G0201-MyQ-Garage-Controls-Smartphone/dp/B00EAD65UW

Works fine, we just got a new opener that has this built in so we no longer need the add-on device.

Ping me if you want it.

Ditto if other person drops out

I feel the same way.  But I did just order myself a new road bike so I can participate at some point.

Put some 1.9 icons on that and a singlespeed ring - and you are set for suffering on any gravel path.  Road bikes are meant to go fast.  You want to work hard for that fast.  Just rode Suburban on such a rig.  Brings a whole new level of effort.

We need the central TX version of the Walton's. And/or some uber wealthy mountain bikers willing to throw significant money at acquiring land for the purposes of development...of bike trails. It'd be awesome if someone just bought all that land up and said, nope...only nature and trails here.

I've heard rumors about just such a thing.......Vague whisperings.....You know - on the "D.L." as the kids would say....(that means "down low" - a phrase to indicate it is said in confidence and not meant to be shared on a public forum, or shared anywhere to anyone, for that matter)🙃

  4. Yeah, I'm pretty pissed that it was canceled.  I feel they should have let people know of the risks and let people decide to take it or not.  I personally would take the risk, since I'm not even close to the risk category, and would rather take it than risk getting covid.  I have a higher likelihood of getting the disease than a damn clot.

Apparently the thing to do if you’re name is Seth… move to NC, get a house on some land with a 4 car garage, ride bikes. Next thing you know you’ll be trail building around your house and there won’t be a single car parked in your 4 car garage. I’ll be waiting for the build videos.

You get a bike industry job?

Looks sweet. What exactly is a field destroy? Does that mean you have to smash it with a hammer and send them photo evidence so it won't be re-sold?

I can send them a picture like this:

This one is from Tony Friar - pint glass for the globe.  It is over his outside patio.

Rockhopper is from a friend - this was his first "real" mountainbike.  Whiskey bottle for the globe.

Kona Unit HT setup with gears and front squish (funny, is I sold the bike frame and fork several years ago, immediately regretted it, and found the bike setup like it is now almost 2 years later for same price I sold it.  Bought it back immediately)

Voodoo HT SS converted to Gravel SS

Trek Sawyer FUSSY (Fully unsuspended SS)

Bianchi SASS converted to 27.5 with front squishy

    Chrome beach cruiser for beer-runs

  8. Luckily - Kept power thru this, but water went out on Tues.  Had to run to Lowes and do some digging to fix it.  Shut off everything not essential.  Also luckily - we are on gas, so furnace/stove/kitchen/hot water heater still live.  I'm with Barry - this has seriously dented my Bourbon supply.
