And, it is a slightly better idea than the zipline from the neighbor's house to our trampoline!

As long as they are cedars - I'm fine with that

Condolences man, my heart goes out to you and your family. This shit is hard enough without added emotions piling on.

I'm running Maxxis Icon 2.1s on my 29er monstercross/road/gravel bike. Roll "pretty" good on road, and work well if you do venture onto gravel paths. I do have at least one Kenda Smallblock Eight 700x32 as well as a Duro Acceler8er 700x32 you can have. Both are Kevlar bead and should setup just fine. YMMV

Hmmmm. Most of my yard is dirt and grass won't grown anyway. Hmmm
Heheheheh - just got permission to put in some features! She did mention if I'm going to haul in dirt for a pump track - I better be bringing sod with it! But, she is cool with wooden stuff!

I just purchased a set of those "Airstreamz" so I can hear better when I ride. I will report back if they work. They are mainly for roadies, but might work at higher speed stuff offroad (as well as the road to get to the trail)
Well, they "sorta" work. Problem is with helmets with straps that are more enduro vs. roadie - the doohicky stays about 1/4" to 1/2" away from your cheekbone, thereby mostly nullifying the benefit. They should be pushed up against your cheek for max benefit. Not gonna keep $15 earmuffs. Amazon to the rescue. Oh, yeah, and Brian Sloan even mentioned it made me look like a Hasidic Jew with the curly locks! 😆

On the bright side - the recent calls for hail has caused me to clean my garage and PIF a bunch of stuff on c-list.
Porch Pickup for the win. Come getcha shit. None of this "is it available". Usually my answer is " if it is still on the curb, it is still available. If it isn't on the curb - you guessed it - GONE"

I'd love to watch other people do it, though! 😄
Funny thing, it isn't THAT much bigger than the drop on Picnic-X, that I have hit on my hardtail (accidentally).

Myself. HB and a guy named Steven. It's pucker factor is legit but the payoff is well worth it. We have plans for maybe a step up just after it on the upslope but we will see.

The roll-in is nice and throws you up the otherside wall for a higher wallride. Fun stuff. The drop - F-that. I'm too old and fragile!

OK, am I the only one who thinks that some of the new "rules" need to stick around:
1) Specific hours/days for elderly/sick/disabled get priority shopping
2) EVERYBODY outside!
3) Families forced to eat together, game together, actually speak to each other
4) Alcohol delivery/pickup with meals. Hell yeah. Just this one. That is all I want to keep.
5) Parents all of a sudden realize how shitty their offspring are to TEACH for our UNDERPAID teachers and being grateful that elementary/middle/highschool is not daycare.
6) Work from home: This shit ain't hard with technology. I'm right now in the garage on the computer, listening to Metallica on pandora, and GoToMyPC app running answering emails. This needs to happen more often!

On the bright side - I have ridden more the last 2 weeks than I have in a while. Although, my liver really disagrees with how much I have been drinking! I love the new FB meme - "I always thought I didn't have a clean house because I didn't have enough time. Guess it was something different. I just don't want to !"

Oh, and movies that are not necessarily available on any of the streaming services but would be worth a pay per view:
1. Sexy Beast - Ben Kingsley ain't no Ghandi
2. Snatch or Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels - Like Sexy Beast but funny, basically the same movie
3. Glengarry, Glenross - Best. Movie. Ever. Alec Baldwin is only in for 8 minutes but steals the show
4. Amelie - French, subtitles, worth it, especially if you have been to / want to go to Paris
5. Goodfellas - Yeah, I know, you saw it. Just shut up and watch it again
6. Office Space - Filmed here in Austin. Early tie in the movie to my Pickle comments on another thread.
7. Four Lions - The Alamo Drafthouse produced this one. Funny terrorist movie. Yeah, like a heartwarming slasher movie, right?
8. Fargo - The accents alone are worth it
9. This is Spinal Tap - This movie goes to 11
10. Trainspotting - It is Scottish, they are speaking English. It is OK to turn subtitles on.
LOVE 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9. Have to add Fight Club (probably going to cue it up tonight)

CORRIDOR and CORRIDOR CREW - visual artists doing what they do best, most of the time just 'cause!
Let's Game it Out - cue's up small/indie/early access video games just to really break them. He does to video games exactly what you want. Best phrase "omg, why is this possible!"

Flared drop-bars.
My new flares are AWESOME! Hit some random things today on my wander around the 'hood route. MUCH more stable than skinny roadie bars. Getting rid of all my 42/46cm bars that are useless. Flared for the Win

Rally fun little Bianchi road bike. Converted to SS with BMX freehub and flipflop fixie hub if you want to go fixie. Also modded to flatbars (they are old motorcycle bars so nice and WIDE) and BMX stem. Origin8 front ring and saddle (Brooks lookalike).
Was my son's school bike but he decided he wanted something new.
Everything works perfect and it's a blast to roll around.

Your welcome.
My handchainsaw just didn't have the umph to finish it off, and since nobody was on trail, didn't have any help.

yep
3 pcs of Michelin Wild Gripr 26x2.0 (two are brand new never mounted)
2 pcs of Specialized The Captain 26x2.0 (one brand new, one slightly worn)
One Kenda Nevegal 26x2.35 decent shape
One Specialized Butcher 26x2.3 great shape
Take your pick. I can leave them in front of the garage ( I will PM my address - I remember where you live). Family is going out on a hike, so take your pick and leave the rest for someone else with kiddos.
