Wow, not sure what happened with the weather tonight, but it was excellent for riding. I just rode 1/4 notch and actually felt great for once.
PLUS I rode over Spongebob!!
Damn it feels good to be a gangster!
Up or down?

That’s what I needed to hear. Thanks! I need to hit this one and then I have one more on Picnic, the one on the west end with the downhill landing.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThat sounds like a correct plan, the one by the handrail is taller and the landing is fast but is is so much fun. It is like a roller coaster. I have yet to try the one on the left of that. I’m sure I can do it it is just that launch aiming down and the tree that keep reminding me I’m 40 and overweight 😂

I’ve only done the one next to it. How does it compare? The rocks look sketchy to land on.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkTo be honest, I only did the one you do for a long time. The take off and landing are flatter and you have a better visual of the landing. That makes you feel safe. In reality the other side is a way smoother landing and once I started doing it. You just need a little more commitment because it seems taller and the almost blind take off. I rarely do the lower side now. The rock in the landing you don’t even feel

I always try and fail the alt-line to the right of Spongebob.
After watching that video right up the middle I'm gonna try to learn that instead.Looks harder than it is, just get some speed so you don’t need to pedal while going up

I started at 310 3.5 years ago, went down to 235 and lets just say it has been raining too much 😅. I’ll send you pm

I’m 270lbs age 40 and I can climb it fine. 3 years ago I couldn’t even do a mile of 1/4 notch without feeling I didn’t belong on a bike anymore. So just put in some seat time and courage. Ride with people that are better than you

This should be on anybody's short list who is looking for a fun, 27.5 hardtail. Just look at those short chainstays!
I’m all for hard tails and short chain stays, but I have some doubts when head angles get too aggressive

Ha you must not have rode the same Emma that I rode yesterday evening! I think the climbing is even harder CW than it was CCW, and that is saying a lot. Rode it on my long-travel 27.5 yesterday, which was fun bombing down the descents but a bitch getting up those ledgy climbs. Definitely prefer the 29er out there.
Oh should have taken my hiking shoes for sure! Haha. But did manage a few good climbs and some nice irresponsible drops

Cleared emma long without dabbing! 🤥
conditions were good. Definitely a humbling experience and good practice

Never been but might as well make it the first time

Need to pedal tomorrow, anybody think trail is g2g? If not any other option besides Reville peak ?
-
I thought it was meant to be hucked by real men, not the type that stand there and look at it and come up with some excuse like me

It is all good. Fun is still there

Isn’t one of the lines there over the big rock? ... or the alternative wall ride?
Big rock is fun, I don’t think it should have branches on it. But If it needs to be for some reason, wall ride is fun too

I hate doing the left side basket huck on picnic. I do it every couple of months to test myself. Always scared.
I haven’t been to cat because I like taking risks and that place seems full of them if that makes any sense
I love the super d loop at rpr

Gap jump over the sidewalk? ... just an idea to avoid tire marks
