at least your jerseys tend to match them
I'm guessing you mean ugly, not color-coordinated. I'm going to have to stop getting dressed in the dark whenever I know the bike fashion police will be on patrol.

I dropped about $300 at the Lamar store yesterday - new osprey, jacket with removable sleeves, wool socks, new seat, etc. Everything was 30% or better.
The clothing was pretty picked through, was hoping for some long sleeve jerseys and there was nothing. Their shorts/pants were worthless. Their prices are pretty high, even with the 30% off they were priced about the same as Pearl Izumi on Amazon and I prefer that brand over performance's cheap attempt.
And there is the problem with any brick and mortar bike shop. Their going-out-of-business-super-blowout-prices are roughly the same as you can find online any day. I feel for the local bike shops, but I'm more guilty than anyone of not supporting them. I found Pearl Izumi Canyon shorts MSPR $90 on Amazon for $14 the other day. How can you compete with that?
Performance does suck though.

Your floor looks a little bendy too.

Hmmm, right now that looks great.
Nothing like a day out on the lake in your pedal boat in 30 degree temps.

I have the Montaro MIPS. I like it, but it doesn't fit quite as well as my previous non-MIPS Feature or Hex before that. I do like it better than any other brand of helmet I've tried. I don't know if maybe the MIPS layer changed the fit or maybe a different retention system. I used to ride with a Halo headband under the helmet. For some reason, it gave me a headache the first ride with the Montaro. I took it off halfway through the first ride and haven't put it back on since. The helmet itself does a decent enough job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes.

I need to get a pic of my neighbors fan but he basically did this but to a lazy susan that is mounted to the ceiling. He can aim it 360° to hit anything in his shop. Used one of these type of fans: http://a.co/d/6O7lfhx
That's a great idea. I'd love to see it.

Being able to go faster and farther with the same effort and very similar riding experience sounds awful. Wait, no, that actually sounds like a lot of fun.

Anyone care to guess why there's a market for e-mtbs but not really for e-road bikes?
Is this true? Are you talking about true go fast road bikes or do commuters count? I'd think there would be a huge commuter market.

Kinda? Was it synced with Dark Side Of The Moon?
It's "kinda" difficult to maintain an erection after you find out the wizard is just a dude.

I never realized that Lake Austin is the city's only source of drinking water. Confession: I've peed in your drinking water.

Will it hold up to the infamous "Evil Hammer Test"?

Curious Question
How come there are so many CL ads where the pictures of various bikes are always in front of the same white brick wall , sitting on rocks ?
It's probably the best backdrop they have for taking pictures of bikes. I would probably go with a more wooded setting if I sold that many high-end bikes on CL.

The basic dropper service is just taking it apart, cleaning, and using lots of Slick Honey. I had a KS with the exact problem you're describing, and this fixed it in 30 minutes. There are lots of things I don't like messing with on the bike, but routine dropper service is easier than bleeding brakes.

It only works if it has a clearcoat on top. My Hammerhead (Titus) did not and looked awesome for the first week, then never again. My current Niner has the clearcoat and it looks better - when I bother to wash it. Which is rare, only after I ride really muddy trails 😉
Yeah, now that you mention that, I did have some weird corrosion issue with a raw Yeti I once had

I end up watching a lot of pro football because it fits in my schedule. Sundays, I'm usually tinkering around the house and will put the games on in the background. Sunday/Monday/Thursday nights I record the game and start watching after the kids go to bed - about an hour into the real-time game which gives plenty of time for skipping commercials. Either that or in the garage while bike wrenching. I'm kind of a fantasy football nerd, so I can watch any game, but I don't really care about the outcome. I just like to keep an eye on who scores and when.
College football I only watch my Texas Tech Red Raiders and their continuous cycle of pulling off shocking upsets then promptly losing to Kansas or some other team they should beat on their way to a 6-6 record.
To bring this back to the original question, y'all are right about the money. Franchises put so much of their salary cap into a handful of players (usually the QB), that the rules of the game are changing to protect those investments. Who wants to watch Brett Hundley vs. Ryan Mallet when you could watch Aaron Rogers vs. Tom Brady? It's a star driven league. They've got to protect their greatest assets.
The problem lately is that some of these rules interfere with some pretty fundamental stuff, like finishing a tackle.

I get your point, but soccer IMO is very boring. I think American Football incorporates many skills, combined with brute strength, sheer speed, and game strategy to produce a very entertaining sport.
Football is a chess match played with elite athletes.
