I'm a dickhead but didn't get a bike. I did get alot of socks and a set of brake pads right before the rain. Now I am wondering how they caused this. Happy Effing New YrAre the trails dry enough to ride this morning?Seriously though, which one of you dickheads got a bike for christmas?!

Seems like RPR is gonna be busy tomorrow. I generally go there on NY day for some reason. Generally isn't too bad. Last yr for NY i rode SN instead. Maybe if I had kept tradition and rode RPR like normal this past year would have different

Should we change over this group to a dirt roadie thread? Asking since I can't ride right now has nothing to do with the above comments.
Jkjk i totally have gotten out of the desire to grind EVERY trail. When you go to parks across country or trail systems like they have in B ville it really makes you loose interest in the constant grind for minor pay offs.

Maybe you need to switch to a One Wheel? But I feel you man, Coming back to town from BVille seemed anti climatic for sure.

I agree. I've gotten a bit bored with a bunch of work for too little reward that 1/4 and DD come with, not to mention the potential for injury. SN is fun because you can maintain speed easier than on the other local trails around here. Don't get me wrong I still like to ride 1/4 and DD just not as much as I used to. Is Gandolf the line on the ridge near Katy lane?
Yes Sir it is. He is expanding it as well. Also if you go down the main trail FROM Katy,, go left through the old cattle gate, you will run into the other new stuff at the end. Ive found it runs much faster and nicer that direction , seems alot less uphill that way

That's a fun section of trail. Hope that nobody has actually gone off cause that would suck.

I have these on my phone case:
I need readers about once or twice a week, so having this on my phone relieves me from having to carry them around with me. Yeah, they look kinda funny but since I only have them on for a couple minutes it's cool.
But I haven't been to a restaurant or grocery store since February and those were the prime reader necessity spots.
Dammit, clicked on that link and now everything is popping up ads for readers, who knew there was so many versions out there. Im blind as F but never had the need for readers on a trail.

Death to 2020 on Netflix
Quite amusing satire

Does this imply you bring reading glasses with you on a ride?

I did see a few unstrapped helmets and reflectors and the obligatory dork discs

What did he end up with?
His folks bought him a Marin Rift Zone 2 from Bike Farm. Which by the way they had a great experience with them. The mom was impressed how they worked direct with her son and talked to him about what he wanted and how he rides. The kid is real stoked

I'm super happy I pushed her to tell me what idea she had to help me bike in inclement weather. And here I thought she was gonna get me a cool jacket.

I liked Zingers on Anderson Lane
They always had cool stuff.
Every Christmas we would find some cool junk for gifts.
Then they moved over by Central Market and never seemed to take off at that location. RIP.
