The new road will allow easier access to other places to ride and connect up. Gotta find the silver lining I reckon .

Riding yesterday I saw a sign from the county at the top of the damn that that section will be closed the 25th through the 27th for some work

The name stems from the name of his Jeep. At his memorial his family requested the trail be named this as it was special to them and his memory. The county had no part in the naming. The county has been great to work with lately btw.

He has tried to make shortcuts from the main BCRT to the low sections of DD by bushwacking his way in , breaking branches , when we told him to stop he has went off on how its public property. Stuff like that. Mostly ignore him. We do run into the few people who do not want any work done and they get rather vocal at our work. 1st time I got cussed out for trail work I was taken aback tbh, But whatever to each their own I guess.

Man this guy, We have stories on him. We call him the Frisbee guy. He tosses the frisbees, and throws out random trivia to the catcher. Most of which are young females. When we do trail maintenance he has gotten a bit "testy" and a PITA with us on occasion , but overall he is harmless.
-
LOL.. He does not exist
-
Is he on the concrete path only and not the trails? There are tons of us out there all the time and he is not ringing a bell. But yea, some odd folk out there sometimes
