BIG BOX CULTURE...

One of the pillars of developing proper, successful marketing efforts... You must understand — be clear on — the related culture of the target market.

Now you might think to yourself... "Well, yeh, of course."

But you'd be surprised how ignored this very basic requirement is in professional marketing environments. Pretty much because it takes time, which means money, which means it cuts into profit margins of the marketing company.

Okay, so in another thread I brought up the topic of an asset that Walmart has that mainstream bike manufacturers don't.

Given one of the comments made regarding this, I thought I'd touch on this matter of moutain bike culture... Big Box mountain bike culture.

Yep... It's out there. Whether you like it, or don't want to admit it.
