I rode Specs to Travis Country to Dragon's Weiner on Friday and the dirt was nearly perfect, punctuated by a couple of avoidable mud puddles. I think we've gotten a little bit of rain since then so I've been hanging back. Regarding the trails below Dragon's Weiner, take a saw with you. Or something. Tons of branches and tree trunks washed down and need cleaning. I ended up hiking across the creek to get out of it all.

Traiks were either nice and tacky, or dusty yesterday. Rode my tourer on fatty slciks with no problems, although some of the shadier creek crossings were holding water. Rained overnight though so who knows?

Are they getting much rain out at the lake? I know it's too early to call it, but was considering a trip to ride Pace Bend this weekend.

Just checking in/starting a tooic for the GB. Anybody got eyes on it since the recent rain?
