If size and weight are not a concern the Morph pumps from Topeak are hard to beat. I rarely carry this anymore (I rarely wear a camelback) but would bring it on backcountry rides (think Colorado) or if I had a new tubeless setup or sketchy ongoing tubeless issue. It basically folds into a mini floor pump and you can pump a tire (repeatedly if necessary) without wearing yourself out too bad. I have even used it to seat new tubeless installs (albeit pretty straightforward rim/tire combinations).

Here's my dude's recent setup. It's the initial build and I've got some Stan's Crest wheels & Shimano disc brakes to upgrade to. But right now its setup with a RS SID fork, Suntour 152 cranks with NW ring, SRAM X0 10spd stuff hung on a pretty lightweight Giant XTC extra small frame. The bike works pretty well for him. 👍
I think that looks is "It won't be long before I can drop your ass Pops"

Very sorry to hear this Antonio. Things are difficult enough right now without having to deal with loss of a loved one. My thoughts are with you all.

Since we are already on a publicity campaign for Caddyshack and the like. What is the consensus on the lines people keep riding that drop straight to the BCRT? There is one right at the foot of the dam spillway and another 100 yards or so to the East. I have blocked them numerous times. I think someone may end up rolling into a walker or perhaps more importantly I think the less traffic up there the better. There are definitely some high penalty for error spots and it is NOT beginner friendly at all.

Big loss. They had some good brews, and some good food. Zombie Dragon and Blackjack were two of my favorites. I got slappy at many an Oktoberfest too. The owner is a roadie and has done a lot for cycling in the community. I suspect there will be a lot of other places on my rotation that do not make it to the other side. 😞

Need some photos of trail that has been misused trail for the little trip-fold brochure I'm doing as a hand out to try and help trail users to better understand the consequences of riding wet trails, or messing with trails in some sort of manner that is destructive to official trail building.
Thanks.Like people creating their own b-lines?

My local-ish brewery went up for sale in February and from what i understand has closed its doors as now late. They had a lot of potential, but poor planning and execution so no surprise there. The market was just too saturated and everyone thought they'd be the next Karbach and was taking that seed money hoping it'd pay off.
Which one are you referring to? And in case anyone isn't aware Karbach = Anheuser Busch

Rain is supposed to move in around 3PM last I checked so I’d get out there ASAP
Just got a quick lunchtime hour-long ride at the little trail system closest to my house. The weather was rapidly changing.

Not only was it humid AF, there were some serious slick spots on Rim and Deception. I went out around 11am and just rode Snail, Rim, and DD. What was scary was that it didn't seem to be just the usual slick suspects. There were a few areas where everything seemed dry and then out of nowhere you'd hit a slick spot. So glad to be riding flats in those situations.
This. I was on Rim about 10:00 and the 3 little g-outs were slick AF. I walked (I usually don't ever walk anything) the last one going W to E and I honestly wasn't sure I was going to be able to get me and my body up that slick 3' or so rock face. I almost turned around, but was able to barely use a tree as a handrail. I think things have gotten progessively worse all week.

Having said all that, driver behavior could be much different under the current circumstances.
This. I think they have reversed from the norm. Much less commuter traffic on SS and more pleasure traffic on Lime Creek. Of course the day I was on Lime Creek it was a perfect day. There have always been fast cars and motorcycles out there, but it was unusually heavy that day.

Nice, my last pickup a couple days ago was a sixer of Big Bark and a sixer of ABW Fire Eagle. Trying to keep it local. I will get some stuff from the surrounding area, but no Big Beer Craft Beer (Karbach, Goose Island, etc). I wish I didn't like Oskar Blues since they are not really local. I am able to avoid them for the most part, but when they had $2 cans at the taproom it was hard to resist.

The road riding right now in general is as good as it has been or will be for a long time, but I did Lime Creek for the first time in a while last week and yes, the number of jagoffs thinking it is a racetrack is very high right now. I probably won't be back out there anytime soon. I think the best times are in the evenings in the winter (in the dark to be honest). I don't think Old SSprings is too bad right now. Most of the commuter traffic that used to bypass through there probably just stays on 360/183 and I don't think the CV spreaders are in too big a hurry. May have to take the road bike out one weekday morning and enjoy the new asphalt. It is pretty sweet right now.

Thanks for the info guys. I was there from about 11-1. More people than I would have liked but doable. May try to go much earlier (next time it is dry anyway).
Recommendations for a Hand Pump

I carry this every ride. I wouldn't hit the Colorado Trail with it, but I will ride the local trails. I have tried at least a dozen pumps over the decades including several Lezynes and it seems cheapies always ending working out the best for me. https://www.rei.com/product/784569/topeak-peak-master-blaster-dx-ii-mini-pump?CAWELAID=120217890000881379&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15877513840&CATCI=pla-552765540870&cm_mmc=PLA_Google&product_id=7845690010&ad_type=pla&channel=online&partition_id=552765540870&target_id=pla-552765540870&brand_flag=&adgroup_id=15877513840&campaign_id=183267160&location_physical=9028293&cid=53280763000&network=g&network_type=search&device_type=c&merchant_id=1209243&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjb3q_IL66AIVxwiICR25SQkbEAQYASABEgKiwPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
