  1. Have you watched the Maradona doc on HBO?  The guy was amazing on the pitch, but man, the shit going on off the pitch was nuts.
Couldn't figure adding the whole video but love this clip. He is a hot mess0e20285721ccd43803963ca781466920.jpg

It's so weird to see those sprinkler heads pretty deep into the woods back there.  I guess maybe the apartment complex thought there was going to be grass back there at some point?

I see those in the woods and wonder what dumb ass mis-read a blue print

  3. I've been riding over 30 years and just dont need it. I guess my balls are small cuz it just isnt an issue. I make do on what ever just fine. But I'll do me and you just get frustrated over things that dont work that you paid alot of money for. To each their own I reckon.

  4. For those who have not ridden BC or even alot of the trails around..
One thing I've loved about BC is that it is in constant flux. Ever changing. As the weather changes and we enter the hot and dry months the trail just births out rocks. The cooler and wetter months tend to see debris absorbed back into trail.
Today's ride is not tomorrows ride. Ever changing and deceiving

  5. Has anyone investigated the feasibility of constructing an irrigation system on the singletrack along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail? (God damn it is DRY AF)

I'm sure the home owners wouldn't mind us hooking up some hoses and running them down

False flats are a bitch, eh?

Speaking of which,  for shits and giggles and change of pace I swapped from my clipless to flats yesterday ,, Rode up EBD  as normal,, I missed the clipless. Even that climb up the culvert next to the toll road to the east of Snail that goes to the top sucked. Normally no issues.

  7. Went out around 420 today (ha)
I was surprised at how nice it was out. Warm maybe but the lack of humidity was nice.

The number of people at BC has definitely subsided and I am happy about that.

Thanks Tip, that was sweet. Cafeend already knows me, as he has a beautiful branch and grass themed railing I made in his house.

p.s. @June BugI have a portable unit just sitting at my shop if you get into trouble.

By the way,, we always get complimented on your beautiful work when people see it . I love it

  9. Night riding for the win! Pick up a cheap set of lights and try it. Super fun. Same old trails fee totally different. Plus, you always know when someone is coming at you.

This as well of course. Maybe it's me but I seem have noticed less people at night than in previous years?

  10. As it has always been just exaggerated now. Go at sunrise. Go near dusk. Find the alternate entrances to avoid the masses.
    Explore new places.
Or hydrate like a mofo and hit it in the heat of the day no one else will be out.

  11. I haven't scoped the new lines out much but are there going to be issues with lines crossing? I know some stuff is still being built, just wondering how much folks need to be on the lookout for someone else bombing down a different line and getting beaned.
The drop from the top of the bridge down to the beginning of Picnic X comes to mind. Not a fan of that intersection.
I think the bad intersection at Picnic and the trail has more potential for trauma than Snail.

Snail everyone theoretically starts at the top and you and another rider would pretty much come down any of the trails at the same time or at least you would very likely be aware of another rider in your vicinity

  12. Ventured to HEB in CP at Parmer and 1431. I was surprised how many folks had masks and gloves. No way to quantify in any ways but took notice that large majority of the few who arent wearing masks there were young 20/ 30s. Then I noticed none had wedding rings on. For whatever use that observation is. I know, so scientific.
