Thanks to @horncpa for the help yesterday moving the cedar logs over to the drop on Picnic. That was an adventure!

@First Bloodi was hoping to use my kayak hauling rig that I use on my gravel bike. Decided that physics would have kicked my butt. Braking would have been sketchy given the weight. Ended up using the trolley and walking the pieces.

@GreenMTBrider    Are those dork disks and reflectors I see?

2. Personally I would never label something as GTG without warranted qualifiers. For example, many of the trails at Brushy were GTG today if you use the "ethically rideable" criteria. Practically though, nobody really belonged out there this afternoon (based on conditions between 2-3). I consider myself an advanced rider, but needed 3-4 dabs just to get through 1/4 Notch while exercising extreme caution on the slick rocks. Most of our group bailed at Swag Rock given the sketchiness, but a few of us braved it through the first segment of DD before calling it quits. Definitely not GTG IMO.
To me what Throat describes is the trail itself was fine. However the limestone itself was slick.
Right? "Ethically Sketchy"

3. People probably don’t want to spend 40min to watch me build my dream bike. But it’s my Bike’s birthday and I figured it was finally time to put together the footage from the build. Special thanks to CBaron for holding the GoPro.

4. Had relatives die and also come back from the dead due to cardiac arrest. Shit is real AF.  Mark Weir really messed me up, and opened my eyes how it could happen to any of us.
TheX congrats on the anniversary and glad to have you and Cafeendriding the dirt rather than in it.

Thanks man
Forgot about the Mark Weir story
That was some crazy shit

5. I can echo CBaron. All the talk in the past encouraged me to for a heart scan. Family history and what-not. It was a no brainer for the money.
However serendipity ensued.
I went to my 1st appointment back in June and they actually wouldn't see me even though they accept self referrals.
The reason was because I hadn't been to a doctor in about 13 years. So I had to find a doc.
That all went good. No issues across the board. However..I did the poop in a box test instead of a colonoscopy for obvious reasons. Well that came back positive. Went in for the procedure and they found 6 polyps.
Then I was able to get my heart scan and the results were real good.
So Mr X.. your preaching about heart this and heart that encoured me to face my man fears and go in and get checked out. You literally saved my ass because no way in hell would I have ever done any of this on my own and if I hadn't gone for the heart scan and got rejected then the polyps would never have been found. Thanks man.

6. GreenMTBrider and myself walked and trimmed back west half of quarter and then west side of DD. He had to go and I continued on. A girl and her dad told me there was 4 trees down on picnic and they moved one. It was about dark so I headed over
Guess what tree they moved?

Thats right. The one thats always moved. It was dark by then and I moved it back to the side but it is not in place.
Of course the other three down trees were the ones that have been "downed" for years.
Their hearts were in the right place though so wasn't mad.

I would say yes to riding tomorrow. 1/4 ,DD and Picnic and for sure Rim. Ditch was wet of course. No idea about Snail or PP

7. The name of that trail may be “indirectly” my greatest contribution to the Austin mtb scene. Who knew the s-storm that Dewayne and my comments would create would forever be memorialized as a trail name. I’m so proud, even though Dewayne gets the credit for the initial opinion that started the debate. “Classic” mojo!

9. I dont mind the drive really.
We were talking today though and decided that if the trails there actually made sense and flow that place would be so much better. They are way better though then in years past though. I do enjoy it and lowered my expectations so I dont get frustrated any more getting lost.
