  1. Well, that makes more sense. 😄 Yes, I agree, when looking at it from the top, anyone coming across from the right could get clobbered pretty easily.
  2. I certainly would have heard someone coming from the other direction. I personally never approach from that direction since the arrows at the fork before that indicate to go to the right. Which in my photo you'd be coming from the trail entering from the right. Not that people look at or care about what signs say. 😄 Also, this was in the middle of the day on a weekday. Not that many people out there. Might have been more suicidal on a weekend or evening. ..Al
  3. My bike is not directly on the trail, unless you are aiming for the tree or you're blind as a bat. I was standing there and had a clear view if anyone was approaching. The bike was only there briefly so I could take that shot.
  4. Isn't that at Walnut Creek? My bike is pointed towards the roots on the other side of the bridge, if that's what you are referring to?
  5. Here's that drop at the end of Picnic.. from the top and bottom:
  6. Yep, here's a photo I shot yesterday that helps with scale:
  7. I'll just continue to roll down the right side of thst instead. 🙂
  8. That certainly would be an improvement.
  9. How about getting a few people out there with a tool to move some rather large boulders into place that can't be easily moved by one or two people?
  10. Okay, while sitting for a moment on the opposite side of the trail after I've just finished Picnic, I've seen people drop in on that side but never took a look. Now I know to do so, as I'm quite curious what this looks like.
  11. I was just out there two days ago and didn't see that. Will have to look again next time I ride it.
  12. That was my first guess as well, but I just wanted to be sure.
  13. I didn't start riding that until recently (and have never ridden it downhill), so it's always been eroded for me. 😄
  14. I definitely prefer 1/4 Notch W2E, which I rode again yesterday (climbing up the bailout). I don't ride Double Down as often, but also rode that W2E recently.
  15. We could setup a table and sit there and hold up score cards after someone cleans (or not) this feature..
  16. It's okay, you can still go over the rocks. 🙂
  17. Also rode 23 miles out there today. Trails and weather were fantastic! Go get some before it rains at the end of this week!
  18. I don't see him peddling that unicycle.
  19. Yeah, I certainly don't recall it looking as easy as it does in the photos. 😄
