  1. https://www.trailparty.com/clinics Did the last one they had at RPR and it definitely improved my riding. Jeremiah and the TTP crew are awesome and there aren't many other classes locally where a guy that races on the EWS is giving you personal tips. The group ranged across all skills levels and they focused on making improvements on small features that could be translated up as you built your speed and skill on the bike. I'm guessing each class is different, but they worked on body positioning and flat cornering, small jumps, and speed through rock gardens during our class.
  2. Speaking of low acreage trail systems, have there ever been any conversations with the city over their parkland off the south Walnut Creek trail? 200+ acres of park and utility easements, 100 ft. of elevation change, pre-built return trails from phase 1 and phase 3 of the SWCT, plus easy access from Gus Garcia Middle School might make after school programs a selling point when all the craziness is over. The city marked out the farm fields on the east side of the paved trail for a sports complex development next to the Austin Tennis Center. Everything else looks unplanned so far. Considering other urban bike parks - Valmont in Boulder is on 40 acres, Duthie Hill in Issaquah is on 120, and Bentonville's Coler is on 400, it seems like there might be ample space for trail development.
  3. -SOLD- Selling my Fox Transfer 30.9mm with 150mm drop and external routing for $150. The post works fantastically and fully extends with the audible top out noise that the Transfer is known for. Will include a Wolftooth ReMote with a handlebar clamp mount for an extra $35.
  4. For some reason I can't upload photos, so here is my pinkbike ad: https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/2720974/ I am selling my Cane Creek DBAir CS 8.5in x 2.5in (216mm x 63mm) in great condition. It comes with standard and XV cans, volume spacers, spare mounting hardware, and volume can o-rings. Switch, damping, and shock action work great and I would much prefer the adjustability to my current setup. Fitment being what it is, I am selling this great shock.
  5. I joined ARR a while back after supporting local groups with only race fees for too long. The emails received since then? My receipt from IMBA. The latest events on the ARR website are from April and the latest news is from 2017. The latest post on the Facebook page is from the 28th at Walnut creek. The only mention of this was a Buzzmill hosted event in the event list. If you want volunteers to show up, you need to tell them what to show up to. Give me a break.
