  1. This is so awesome!!! I've ridden some of these new trails but have still not found the jump lines. Lots and LOTS AND LOTS of possibilities out here for this. I will definitely be helping out.
  2. So with the blanket/mat, am I tying the bike down in the bed? otherwise, what keeps it sliding back and forth along the tailgate? Sorry, I'm a total noob at this.
  3. Just got myself a new pickup (GMC Sierra). I was curious what the thoughts were on this various methods of hauling your bike around. I am only considering methods where I am not having to reattach the wheel. The two main ones I am looking at are: 1) The "blanket" that goes over the tailgate and you throw the front wheel over the tailgate. 2) The bike rack that holds at the tires and goes into a trailer hitch attachment. Pros/Cons of each? Hoping to make a good long term decision.
  4. 1/4 notch for me is just a lot of work. Off all the trails, it just exhausts me fast. Just in and out of those two creek beds. I would note it really feels different depending on which way you ride either WtoE or EtoW
  5. This was my experience. I got a 29 inch hard tail. In just over a year, I've had to replace the stock rims (which were complete trash), derailleur, crankset, and most of the cables. The actual bike feels good though and the geometry of the bike fit me well.
  6. That's going to be awesome when complete HB!
  7. Only thing still closed is Peddlers. It was still pretty wet at 9am.
  8. That's going to be so much safer. I really appreciate the effort. If I can get off a little early, I will be there.
  9. I am not the trail steward, but they try to market Peddlers Pass as a beginner level trail. There has been several accidents at this spot, with one being severe over the last couple of months. They aren't doing away with the drop, just improving the run out to make it a bit safer.
  10. Deb's Drop....Nice! She definitely earned it. Sounds like a good plan for the runout. I've gotten in the soft stuff on the right side a couple times and it definitely scared me good. Glad to hear it isn't going to just go away.
  11. Per a Twitter post, the drop that is next to the creek a couple turns before the end of PP is closed for rework. I've definitely seen a couple wipeouts at that spot. I finally got myself to be able to make it through that section, but I'll admit that step down makes me feel uneasy EVERY time I do it. It just never looks good to my eyes, but I know it is rollable. Any idea what the plan is for that spot?
  12. Looking good!! I stopped to see if y’all needed help getting it placed in but was told y’all were all good. Nice sign. Even set my personal PR on the Pass tonight!!
  13. Something weird going on up in the neighborhood they are building.
  14. I really hope it is not true. I am TERRIFIED of dogs and greatly prefer them to be onleash.
  15. I am so thankful for you getting that going again! That trail got me into MTB!
  16. Thanks for clearing this out. I love going through that little section coming from E-W. Those sticks could have definitely caused me to crash.
  17. Very cool. I appreciate all y’all do.
  18. What FB site? I'd like to add.
  19. Certainly the most reasonable explanation. I sure hope not, because that ain't fixable. I definitely miss getting to shoot down that thing, but I will never be willing to try that drop with water present.
  20. I'd at least be interested in following the water up stream to get an idea of water source. It is possible that there is a pipe leak somewhere that isn't being detected. There should NOT be any water flowing through there right now, yet it's still a pretty good flow.
  21. Do y'all find 1/4 notch easier to ride from W-E or E-W. Previously, I had heard E-W but with this route I feel like I am climbing the hill slowly the whole ride. From W-E, it seems like you would be mainly starting at the top of hill and working your way down, which sound "easier" Thoughts?
  22. Wow, that is some awesome footage. I know there is bad GoPro effect, in terms of making hard things look totally doable. Nice riding!
  23. My friend was at Walnut Creek, apparently it is G2G
