  1. I guess you'll never know. But I'm sure, by your constant non-interaction interaction, you sure want to.
  2. And this... As someone who has been conducting research for some 35+ years... I know where to look when conducting research. But thanks for the link, I'll add it to the fifty or so online bicycle resources I already have bookmarked. And as someone who has been "...Click buy[ing]..." through online stores since around 1998, I'm pretty sure I know how it works. But my interest here was to hear the experiences of local riders who participate on these boards.
  3. And here the old man just gives a proper... Experience... Response. That's how easy it is. Just be normal.
  4. Experience... "...Chainrings, right? Then I say a 40T with a 20T cog works pretty well around here." Experience... "...I spent 2 years on gx 42, 2 years on gx eagle 50, and just switched to XT 46. Big fan of the 46 so far. 42 was a bit too tough at times. 50 was a lot of spinning....". And experience... "...It's so flat around here you can put a 30t on the front and run a 10-40 or 11-40 and very rarely run out of gear. oh and just so you know, 40t is a bigger gear than 50t." Thank you.
  5. And here's another one... mack_turtle... Unless you're a fool... Your first response was only focused on rear... Which means you had to be thinking there was meaning to being just focused on the rear. Was your first response just you speaking meaninglessly? I think not.
  6. You are most certainly an ass, AustinBike... Which is common for those who think highly of themselves. Here... Let me dumb it down for you. Context... "...what's the experience feedback on them?..." No asking for "...best of...". Can you at least grasp that, foolish fellow who wants folks to think he's quite bright? I specifically applied no context... Other than an individual's experience... Which opens it up to whatever "...context..." the individual had their experience in. Look... Thinking about it, I apologize, AustinBike... My last sentence (which I deleted) was a bit harsh.
  7. Just wondered, now that these big gears have been around for a while, what's the experience feedback on them?
  8. Seems he's suffering from Old-Man-Wanna-Be-Noticed-Itis.
  9. I'm thinking Red Bull didn't give any of these folks wings... https://www.imbikemag.com/mountain-bike-news/2019/08/wipeoutwednesday-more-brutal-crashes-for-your-enjoyment/
  10. It's like magic. Or puppet master-like. Dig TAF-fy boy... You go girl... Dig your hole.
  11. So this got me thinking... And doing a little research. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/bell-comfort-storage-bicycle-saddle?campid=71700000050238202&adgroupid=58700004916746695&device=c&keyword=92700044239515967&Channel=pla&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsc2c2d6l5AIV9v_jBx2ZuQN2EAQYAyABEgKSnPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Okay, this one isn't exactly a seat with storage... But it's interestingly close... https://www.roadbikerider.com/cyckit-aeroclam-underseat-bike-storage-d1/
  12. And yet... Here you are... Compelled to make a comment about me... Even trying to boast in it. Even blocked... This twit is still controlling your mind.
  13. LOL... Must be a slow day at the office. Let's see if this helps... Might there be possible developments to the idea...
  14. When 90% of a marketing video has nothing to do with the product... Then you know the product doesn't really have much going for it... https://www.selleroyal.com/en/tattoo
  15. $50 for a wheel build seems like a great deal.
  16. Someone in local government had to spend money on something. Federal government money maybe... If it isn't spent by the end of the fiscal year the local government looses it for the following year.
  17. No problem... I needed to get things going with these builds, so you got me started. Saw this at Yellowbike last week... May work for you... $200. Jamis... 17"... Mixture of Deore/XT drive components... RST Gila fork (one of the better ones). Actually... Just did some research on the fork... Not good reviews. So budget for a fork if you consider this bike.
  18. This is the North Star steel frame. Haven’t had time to tear down. This thing is light. Don’t think it is compatible with disc kit. Maybe around a big 15”.
  19. This is the Giant Warp DS1... '02 version... Size medium. I’ve got a shock that fits Bearings seem tight. Great reviews online. Again, not disc compatible, but will take conversion kit. I have the Rock Shox fork that came with it (matches yellow).
  20. This is the Specialized Rockhopper FSR, ‘01/‘02. Great reviews online and still sells on eBay for good $$$s. Size 17... Bearings seem tight. Shock seems to work. Again, not disc compatible, but can take conversion kit
  21. This is the Schwinn Mesa. It’s a larger frame than the Fisher and weighs maybe a lb more. Again, not disc ready, but will accept conversion kit. This is a ‘02/‘03 model and was sold in bike shops, not big box. Although it says 21”, I think it will fit more like a 19”.
  22. This is the Fisher Mako. Just a touch over 3lbs frame weight. Is not disc compatible, but conversion kits are available and not expensive. Size is 16.
  23. I know... I know... But it's all there in black and white... The Cannonade Prophet was just way ahead of its time... Including adjustable geometry... Being able to easily take 27.5" wheels (and even 29")... And tapered forks. Shoot... I guess "Prophet" was a really spot on name.
