  1. Coincidentally, this was posted a few days ago on the Austin Mountain Biking group on Facebook. Here's a direct link to the video: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1707436536013903 ..Al
  2. Did you have a chance to ride any other trails? Just curious how others are faring. Thanks! ..Al
  3. Thanks for all the photos! Can't wait to see this in person. I mean, can't wait to ride it!
  4. Awesome, can't wait to ride it! Thanks for sharing photos..
  5. I can't individually change the Trail Conditions forum to display more topics than the other forums. I did change the Trail Condisions forum so the topics are shown with the most recent updated topics first. I had them set to alphabetical thinking it would make it easier for people to scan and find the trail system they're looking for, but I agree it's a bit confusing relative to how the rest of the forum works. ..Al
  6. I was wondering this as well.
  7. I would also be happy to contribute!
  8. That looks great! 😄
  9. That is a nice bridge, thanks for the clarification. I've been impressed with the bridges that have been built at Brushy, and I look forward to seeing what new bridges are constructed..
  10. Holy crap, that's at Brushy?
  11. One thing I've learned after living in Austin for 20+ years is weather forecasts are rarely terribly accurate when it comes to rain.
  12. You can easily ride over the flooded portions of BCRT. I did so yesterday on my hybrid. Water isn't too high.
  13. I just rode a nearly full lap at Walnut. Much to my surprise, nearly all the trails are in great shape! Hero dirt galore. The only trail I did not ride was Windy Loop. I went in from the top (backwards) and turned around after 100 feet as it was too wet. Mark's Art is wet at all the armored dips as one might expect. Creek crossings were rideable. Love all the berm work taking place on both Log Loops. 🙂 Temperature was relatively cool. Glad I got a ride in before the next round of rain! ..Al
  14. Seriously, how the fuck could you not know they're wet? And how far did he ride before he started pushing his bike out because it had too much mud?
  15. If not, perhaps there should be.
  16. Everything you said here is 100% correct.
  17. It's now "heavy drizzle" here in Round Rock..
  18. Maybe it won't rain tomorrow and I can get a ride in... 🚲
  19. Are magazines still a thing??
  20. Also rode Emma Long yesterday and had a great ride. Was pretty busy out there between mountain bikers and dirt bikes! I definitely prefer the trail in this direction, and quite a bit more is ridable for me in its new configuration. Even did two laps (although we skipped the upper loop on our second pass through), which is something I haven't done out there e in quite some time! ..Al
