Wasn't able to make it out today, after doing trail work at LGT in the morning, riding yesterday evening, and plans to ride tomorrow morning, I needed a break. I'll endeavor to get out for next week's ride, though. Hope you guys had fun!

A cheeseburger!!! I have done a PB&J sandwich in the CamelBak for long (usually over five hours) rides before. PB&J tastes incredible after you've been riding for hours. 😄

That looks interesting. I use MapMyRide to create routes for longer road/gravel/mountain bike rides, but since most trails in Austin are not in Google, it's not very useful in that department. I'm curious how the route creation is for mountain biking and how well the app-based navigation is when you're on singletrack. ..Al

I'm enjoying reading the feedback. I may not agree with all of it, but many good points have been raised so far. This was a first pass at a logo, and we'll make another.k I'd prefer to get it right the first time, as I don't want to spend time adjusting it later. And I want to use it not just for this site, but for social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) as well as stickers and such. ..Al

Thanks for the additional information. I would have been impressed if this was done at Lake Georgetown. The rock work does look very well done!

Throet and I got back out there today and cleared the remaining trees between Cedar Breaks and Crockett Springs. Trail should now be good to go between Cedar Breaks and Cedar Hollow. Hopefully there aren't any more trees down beyond that, but there may be some elsewhere on the trail. We also cleaned up the trail across the small creek shortly before Crockett Springs (heading west). Here's some photos of downed trees and our work:

There was a tree down on Gnargasm a month or two ago, right at the end where you head down to the wood feature, but I assume that's been taken care of. Haven't been on Gnargasm in a month so no idea if it's still there. ..Al
