TheX
For those that experiment with spacers and air volume in your forks, have you considered (or tried) the MRP Ramp Control?
ATXZJ
Had several and like them. Its a convenient way to tailor the progressivity of your fork on the fly without having to fool with spacers. To do again, id try a luftkappe on my non-debonair forks.
TheX
The install on my Fox 36 is dead simple. I'm going to order one. Less than 150 bucks. That's in the experimental zone.
TheX
Hmmm, looking like the DSD Runt might be a better option. It's only 200 bux. Need to do more research.
natas1321
Have it on one of my hightower's and like the ease of being able to adjust it on the go. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
AustinBike
I like the idea, but in reality, I never touch my shock and fork settings once they are dialed in. I don't even touch the lockouts for climbing because too often at the end of the climb a descent begins and halfway down I am thinking "wow, this is really rough." That is the wrong time to stop and turn a knob. Realistically speaking, when people get things like this, how often do they actually adjust them? TheX
I'm looking at it more as a way to experiment, and learn what I like/want/need.
ATXZJ
For me its nice to turn up the lsc and ramp control in the steep stuff.

AustinBike
Will be interested in a review once you have used it for a while
TheX
I think I need to ride the fork with spacers in it for a while. That way I have a baseline to compare the Ramp Control with.

Getting a fork with ramp control has actually altered my policy on not changing settings. There are real tangible benefits to letting out a few psi, zeroing compression and increasing ramp for chunky slow trails. Then for faster trails with more high speed impact increase psi a little, increase compression damping a few clicks, and decrease ramp. My initial impression was "Meh, who wants to think about that, just ride" but the benefits convinced me. Especially slow chunky mode. I literally laugh out loud when I can shove my front wheel over a rock that would've stopped me any other time.
TheX
I'm trying to learn more about long travel bikes, and this seems like a good way to experience different settings easily. Since it falls under the threshold for "cheap" I figured it was a no-brainer.
