Dog is growing tired of shelter in place.
  2. Dunno, that roller looks pretty sweet and makes me want to break some rules.
  3. Bashing trump gets clicks and views and is a distraction from how much they're being f@cked by their own party every second of every day of their lives. This is also the same thing on fox , blaze , rimblow ETC running hours and hours of "news" claiming the dems are trans communists that are going to turn your grandchildren gay. The mainstream and cable news is the last f@cking place I go to find out whats happening with the coronavirus. They can take their scrolling realtime count of people dying/infected and shove it up their asses. Those are people, not numbers for your ratings. Sorry..... rant/ off
  4. onanotherfuckingsubject Wife was not pleased with road rides on aggressive MTB tires so we swapped out to some touring tires for the coronarides. BTW i feel compelled to share "thickslick" was my stage name back in the 90s. Dark days 🤣
  5. After today's posts in this thread, I am glad to see the new JRE drop with TimmyD.
  6. From the Chernobyl series: - What is the cost of lies? It's not that we'll mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all. What can we do then? What else is left but to abandon even the hope of truth and content ourselves instead with stories? In these stories, it doesn't matter who the heroes are. All we want to know is: "Who is to blame?" Having existed in a world before 24hr news, I can say that the media's need to constantly stimulate/titillate their audience, to get views, clicks and reactions has taken the front seat to actual journalism. Want to know what real issues they aren't going to report on? Watch the commercials during the break. Those "sponsors" have bought control of the narrative, and that includes NPR as well. We are currently at war with truth in a reality TV landscape, and frankly I don't know if people are capable of watching objective journalism at this point. I lay a lot of the blame with the clinton administration and the passage of the 1996 communications act. rant/ off
  7. or anything you could be held accountable for you showed your hand when you posted that link. What other sources you do look at for coronavirus information? entertain us
  8. so you won't commit to anything. no surprise there
  9. Epoch's YouTube commercial claiming their office in China was broken into was hilarious. They are 12mos away from selling silver boner pills.
  10. My neighbors like this track😁
  11. Same. We lived in downtown Buda and was stoked to see them breaking ground (and also deep eddy coming) but they opened with only 4 taps and once weekly. Also was a bit baffled that their tasting room was in the back (?) They started to add some good beers and got a steady foodtruck but it guess it didn't pan out. Really liked their racepoint IPA and hope they make it but........ The ones that will make it are aggressive, offering things like curbside, home delivery, hand sanitizer and namesake beers. Being able to order online, pay through google or PP, pull up and have my sh*t loaded in the trunk or bed goes a long way.
  12. This^ My local-ish brewery went up for sale in February and from what i understand has closed its doors as now late. They had a lot of potential, but poor planning and execution so no surprise there. The market was just too saturated and everyone thought they'd be the next Karbach and was taking that seed money hoping it'd pay off.
  13. That's a good thing for sure because the news isn't too good, but was bound to happen at some point with such a leveraged industry. https://www.americancraftbeer.com/texas-craft-brewers-guild-finds-71-decline-in-brewery-sales-due-to-covid-19/ At this point, ive been supporting whatever i can get curbside at spec's
  14. Found em. It's the Hylex RS, and i've read TRP will sell the levers separately if you contact them. As far as compatibility, I wouldn't worry too much as long as the master can provide enough volume for the piston in your existing caliper it'll work fine. Most levers will work with any caliper just the modulation will be different based on master/caliper size ratios, but on gravel bike that really shouldn't be a huge issue. We've run Saint 4 piston calipers with XTR levers and they work great. https://trpcycling.com/product/hylex-rs/ If all else, you can always find a set of Spyre SLC on the cheap
  15. Don't pollute a positive thread with rehashed arguing. You have plenty of your own zombie threads that nobody responds to, that you can play in.
  16. As I recall, Trp makes just drop hydraulic levers that would work with SS
  17. We've been playing GWD for about a decade and now have now switched to the virtual coronagame. Pretty fun with zoom, booze and a few friends. https://www.geekswhodrink.com/
  18. Why create direct conflict by picketing people who are too stupid follow rules? Take that energy directly to the officials who are paid by us to run our cities. After coronageddon, I think people are going to be a little less patient with the continued status quo from our "leaders". In a position of leadership you're either competent , complicit or negligent. We can't take the boot off of them long enough to make excuses. rant/ off (again)
  19. Or we could just hold our city officials and enforcers accountable for not doing their jobs.
