We ended going to visit SATN instead. Wasn't willing to roll the dice for the drive time. ABSOLUTELY want to do this as a group in the near future.
  2. This whole thread begs the question, when does the exclusive "Writing Again" magazine get started? You've claimed to have cuddled up to media moguls on yachts so securing funding for such a solid venture should be a no-brainer. don't let us get in the way of your dreams for christs sake!
  3. El Paso was a bit meh..... IMHO, worth a few hours more driving to get into NM or AZ.
  4. BKXC has grown on me a bit and this 50 state thing is gonna be cool. Wife and I travel out of state fairly often and it'll be nice to see what else is a day or two away.
  5. love me some james gang (trail)
  6. I use 91% in those bottles daily for work. Was using them for bike repairs but prefer the wd40 aerosol now. bend over and ill show you
  7. I avoid brake kleen as its a little too caustic for my tastes. It can discolor/damage other surfaces like paint and powdercoat on forks, hubs and calipers etc. Watched a GMBN tech episode where they recommended WD-40 contact cleaner. Found some at my local home despot for under $7 and have been using it on everything for a while now. Stuff is great! https://www.wd40.com/products/contact-cleaner/
  8. clean your screens and fire up some 1000mods
  9. New BKXC video featuring ATX and Spider mountain.
  10. For sure, and there's so much new stuff around bentonville that you'll have plenty of bad ass riding at your disposal. We're just happy to 1. finally go when its "cold" and 2. not have to pedal very much🤣
  11. coordination is key. go all in with the new stems
  12. CB came to the party late and just killed it for a brief moment. Definitely gone too soon Good god damn cover right here......
  13. Don't forget the upgraded caps during your purchase!
  14. This^ When we lived in new mexico i used to hit a trail that was a steep fireroad climb to super long, exposed downhill singletrack. It was a great trail because you could let go of the brakes and just haul ass. As a bonus it was a lot of work to get to and remote so less traffic. HOWEVER, without fail there were hikers doing exactly as described above complete with headphones and paying zero attention to their surroundings. The worst were the moms who actually took their kids out in offroad strollers on this trail. F@cking strollers! Almost ran right into the back of one on a blind corner and had to fly into the desert to avoid her. Sucked. I'm getting to the point where I just want to ride at bikeparks.
  15. no worries, its the innerweb....... i can definitely think of a few obstacles i'd like to gap if i only had the speed (😁)
  16. At that speed, and with those rocks, gapping features can get nasty quick.
  17. Wife and I rode from 1826 down boneyard through firehouse. Kudos to the builders...was a lot of fun!
  18. Buddy from SLC is coming down mid February and thinking we're gonna hit this up. Two days driving and two days riding. $40 for shuttle gravity............SOLD!!!!! https://www.buffaloriver.com/pages/hiking-more/upper-buffalo-bike-trails-imba-epic/boc-ponca-downhill-mtb-trail/
