RidingAgain

On Friday past one of my friends in the Walmart near 290 and Mopac left for Houston. She was having a hard time finding somewhere affordable to live here in Austin, that was also close to where she worked (something many people are encountering). She was also missing her family and will be sharing a place with her sister in Houston. She was happy about the move, and I'm happy for her. Her name is Denise, and I know this because over the years I took the time to say hello to her and ask her how her day was going. I thought it just a nice thing to do because she was often the greeter that greeted me at the door of Walmart when I walked in. We became friends and our greeting turned into short chats, and sometimes I found that I was able to encourage her when she was going through hardships. And this is something I do with a few others at Walmart... Josie, Tuila, Bachmai, Martha... To name a few. And last night I complimented the manager on her cool red Jordan kicks. It brought a big smile to her face. And to think... What does it cost to do this? Just some time, and caring for others... Which, when you think about it... Is pretty cheap.

Been thinking of flats... Maybe starting with shoes that are a bit less sticky would help in getting your feet off the pedals more quickly. Then as you get use to it you can move to the sticky-soled shoes.

Meaning, God is the ultimate adviser to all. Truth is, God is the only adviser there is, all other claims are just vanity. Regarding my reputation score... It seems to bother you far more than it bothers me. Regarding my trying to pretend to be smart/enlightened... I've made no such claim, nor think I am, and therefore have no need to pretend. Eat the hay and leave the sticks is what I say; and that includes my own speaking. Regarding being in my 40s... I'm not. I'm in my 50s. Regarding living in an apartment... I'm fine with it. Maybe you shouldn't let it bother you so much. Regarding my being "...cancer to anything you're involved with."... Scripture tells me that I am what I am by the grace of God. So, if you've got a problem with what I am, go take it up with God. Regarding my using my neighbor's wifi... How silly that would be, seeing I pay $90 a month to Spectrum for both cable and wifi service. Hope the above info eases your seemingly stressed little offended mind, ATXZ.

BTW... If you take this thread as an example... It should be clear to any honest person that the only person "...contributing nothing but cancer..." to it... Is you, ATXZ. It really is quite plain to see.

My brother, who is a commercial pilot, started making Jerk Pork in his garage (he lives in Trinidad) using a Weber smoker like the one above. His friends kept asking him to make some for them when he was doing his own cook, even bringing over their pork for him. He ended up with about four or five of them (smokers). Fast forward to today... My brother owns the most popular restaurant chain of Jamaican food/Jerk pork in Trinidad — last I heard he was up to four restaurants (been in business for 20 years now. But a real garage to successful business venture. And yes, the Webers got replaced by walk-in rooms with big smokers.

Found these at Walmart yesterday evening — on clearance. This is the Walmart by Mopac and 290 in SW Austin, but they might be available at all stores... Great price at $5. Thought some folks here might want to take advantage of... Wait for it... Cheap.

Yes... Please. That way those who want to have polite and progressive discussions on threads can do so without your trolling interruptions.

Allergy season... Try Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar... A couple tablespoons maybe twice daily. Really helps... And is good for your overall internal workings.
