TheX
Man, lots of worldwide issues this morning. An ISP injected a bad route this morning that basically took down Open DNS/Cisco Umbrella. The issue appears to be resolved now, but a LOT of things were bouncing, and it looked like a wider issue. Without DNS, a LOT of things stop working. TheX
Official word from Cisco. An Internet service provider inadvertently injected the incorrect BGP prefixes out to the Internet and this caused traffic to be dropped causing the DNS outage.
