My personal answer wont help you....I love sketchy conditions and what I consider manageable is someone else's "no fuckin way". It might rain, it probably won't. If there's weather, everyone has to choose for themselves what to do.

I give the "ride within limits, be an adult" speech to all my racers because that's the truth. I don't know everyone's skill/comfort level. I find that by trusting folks is more effective than trying to scare them. As a race promoter, I can control certain things....EMT, safety plan, helmet rule, waivers, liability insurance, the trails we build/race. I can't control some dummy trying to do his best Sam Hill impression. So I don't try.... Also, FREE BARTMAN!!!

We encourage all racers to wear fullys and knee pads at minimum. Dakine and 7Protection are Trail Party sponsors, support the companies that support your trail builders. For whatever reason, putting on the full face n goggles gets me in race mode.

Owners built the green and blue. We (Trail Party ) are building two blacks....they're gonna be dope as hell. It has taken a ton of fantastic volunteer support to get this far. Anyone who wants a preview can show up to dig day. 4 hrs trail work gets you shuttles. The race is gonna sell out. Don't dick around. Everyone wants to know about the lift. Parts are on-site. There is no firm completion date at this time. Hang in there. Gonna be worth it!

@Albert. Trail Party here. We are doing a dig/ride almost every Sat and Sun leading up to the race. 4 hrs of digging gets you shuttles. Check our FB for announcements....#nodignoride Our race is Sep 29 and will be the soft open for the park. Plan is to close the venue after the race so they can finish work on the property. We don't have an ETA from the owners on an opening date. A lot of it will depend on how much time it takes to install the lift.
