  1. The Quebecois keep killing it. I'm hot & cold when it comes to Scotch Ales but this one is really, really good. It has a pretty big profile so I'd struggle to have a second round.
  2. Jesus....how freaking big are those?
  3. Funny you mention that. Was at the bike park and one of the guys I was riding with was complaining about shifting issues. After some inspection he discovered the cassette was loose. Pulled the wheel and it wasn't the cassette. Out came the cone wrenches LoL
  4. With bike thefts the way they are, I can't blame them. I'd rather go in the woods than have my bike stolen.
  5. Going to attempt a DIY stanchion repair on my pike. Had a pretty gnarly crash that ended up sending myself and the bike ricocheting off rocks down a hillside. Fork surprisingly was the only real damage. A new CSU is way overpriced right now, and finding a 40mm offset model is impossible. Tried to order a sendhit repair kit but the shipping to BFE Canada was insane. Ended up ordering some jewelers files, metal polish, sandpaper and epoxy from Amazon. We shall see Air B&B bike shop🤣
  6. Nothing solid yet. Trying to find a place to buy, and current plan is to give it through Christmas before we head back to somewhere in the USA.
  7. Le Massif bike park Canada bites back. Had a wicked exit off the trail at speed, then down a hillside. The parks here are no joke. Love it! My back matches the CSU🤣
  8. Forgot to add. Bikes with slack STAs make it more difficult to compress the dropper. Particularly bikes with 30.9 seat tube diameter and smaller.
  9. Riding Mont Sainte Anne is like a religious experience. Honestly the best bike park I've ever been to. Did a trail that dropped 1700ft in 2.3 miles that was pure rocks & roots tech. Hands, arms and pride is DONE🤣 So much respect for the World Cup DH racers who compete here.
  10. Sentiers du Moulin, Lac-Beauport, Qc. Basically their version of Reveille Peak ranch on steroids. The 2.1 mile climb to the top made me thankful to have a 30/50t🤣 https://www.sentiersdumoulin.com/
  11. Have both and prefer the PNW but I have the loam. Seems less effected by the seat clamp creating stiction on the dropper. Also, I remove the seal collar from time to time and drop a little slick honey in there to keep things moving smoothly.
  12. For sure. They had a special of 4 for 20.00 cad but I was a cheap bastard 😁
  13. If anything, the beer in Quebec is affordable. This one was really good, and as a bonus was on sale for 5.99CAD 😎
  14. Exile. That is all.
  15. So far, all of the people in quebec ive seen either riding or transporting e-mtb have been seniors. And smokers🤣
  16. Ugh. Hard pass And fuck that government
  17. I've heard this too. Especially with athletes. Got the Rona officially, on 7/18 after riding for nearly a week with it. Now taking this week to recover from working in the TX heat, packing and moving all our crap to storage then driving 2k miles. The view/trails are MSA make it very tempting but I'm just tired AF. Oh and I got flagged for a "random" COVID test at the Detroit border crossing. That was a pita to put it mildly.
  18. Sorry about the rona man. Sounds like you guys had it a little worse than us. Ugh. The Levo weighed 37lbs which was actually 1lb lighter than his sentinel. Loading and unloading it felt no different than my commencal which also weighs around 38lbs. I would buy my wife an e-bike in a heartbeat if we did a lot of climbing. It sucks to see her struggle to keep up with us (guys) and the assist would even the field a bit.
  19. Got to ride my buddies levo SL in telluride, climbing at 9-10k ft, and it was a total game changer. Even on the lowest setting. I honestly thought I had a flat rear tire when I got back on my bike. Absolutely changed my opinion of e bikes in certain applications and would buy one in a second for places with real climbing. An ebike in CTX? No way. I'd think only fentanyl can make those trails less miserable in the summer😁

    Random Dogs

That's actually pretty awesome. Had to put a bed behind my seat because she couldn't handle the abrupt braking etc in the truck.
  21. Fuck me. This has to be one of the best looking trucks I've ever seen. Studebaker museum, south bend. Where do I sign🤩
