  1. tried scriptures earlier, then walls of text, and now he's fallen back into posting video responses again. Its cyclical
  2. If you aren't paying attention to the numbers in life, you're doing it wrong.
  3. Close to, after a few drinks in. The sweet irony of someone responding to a few sentences with a wall of text 2725 characters long does not go unnoticed, even in my current state.
  4. Word count Words 607 Characters 3304 Characters excluding spaces 2725
  5. most honest thing in this wall of text
  6. I chose that passage because I think its hilarious and would like to see more thumpers quote it instead of the usual self righteous drivel. Maybe use it as a tag line on the next christian mingle profile? Are you also telling me you believe a woman wrote anything in that f'ing book? please tell me you do......LOLz Theres no way you can say you've bought ANY of the items you've posted on mojo and this site asking for everyone's opinions on. You just can't. As someone who's worked in an industry full of them for 28 years, I have a penchant for spotting tire-kickers.
  7. Good choice! Congrats, and a preemtive F' you for all the impending rain
  8. Of course the author is a "he" as only a man would be psychosexual enough to write all the tripe in that book of voodoo. Incest much? You also assumed that from what I typed, just like we assume you're completely feckless and spend all of your time on facebook dreaming about stuff you'll never own or do.
  9. Hats off to you man for braving the weather and giving it a go! Heal up soon😎
  10. wife's even more modest Alesis kit. Kept the neighbors happy As far as risk goes. I had a pretty bad crash on madrone acting like bender and landing like evel knievel at ceasers last year and it has made me a little (too) cautious when it comes to hucks/drops. Gotta get past that.
  11. This is one of my favs: Ezekiel 23:20 : 20 "There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." HAWT!!!!!!!
  12. I did a works headset and went to 130mm for that very reason. With the old 120mm, my honzo had a 11 7/8 bb height before sag. It was no wonder the older xc hardtails felt like death machines when I used to ride them
  13. Pinkbike just posted this: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/video-first-impressions-of-the-year-round-lift-access-at-spider-mountain-in-texas.html Cool to hear one of the IFHT guys opinion and comments on the trail as the dude has whistler in his backyard.
  14. This^ I wish more people understood that when selecting/building a HT. Looks good man! Of all the bikes ive let go of, my HT was the toughest. So much fun.
  15. Am i actually typing this? Was Elon right? Id pick b_rtm_n over the other, as BM knew when to lay low for a while. Additionally, he at least had a history of participating in the MTB community through group rides and trail maintenance.
  16. Hate to tell you this, but theres more to living in a state than mountain bike trails. Austin is a pretty good example of this. I lived in NM twice, once by choice, and couldn't get out of that place fast enough. NM ranks at or near the bottom of US states in every possible metric. Last I checked it had a negative net migration for this very reason. Lived in a majority of the states in the SW/Western US and also California. NM is 3rd world in comparison. We'll stay friends regardless as you know the trails, and I have extra bike parts you need🤣
  17. Are there normal singletrack trails at SM? I can only imagine the "trail access pass" would allow people to pedal up the service road and take the DH trails down? In the end, they control the land and can decide who/what accesses the trails. None of it makes sense but at some point they might clear it up. FYI, Seth from Seth's bike hacks will be there this weekend.
  18. Are they really? To me, it would seem as the resort is private property and the owners/managers control the trails and access, e-bikes being used to bypass the lifts would not be an issue. At MSA they were only seen in the lodge/pit area shuttling riders ETC. As others have said, it can indeed add up fast. However, if my wife and I can do a three day weekend and ride RPR and SM, then it'll still be cheaper than loading up and heading to NM or colorado. And for the record, f@ck new mexico
  19. Yes, and crested butte. This park will be no comparison to either. It'd be like paying porsche prices for a VW. Same company but not the same product.
  20. Just like the brewing industry RIP: Big Bend Brewing
  21. If thats accurate, this place will be posting groupon deals in 6 months. For $50, im cool with going a few times year but their current pass pricing is not worth it. I lived in NM for 18 mos and probably made 6-8 visits total at the bike parks, and I lived minutes from one of them. Heres some comparisons: https://www.skiapache.com/summer/mountain-biking/ http://sandiapeak.com/index.php?page=summer-rates-tickets https://www.angelfireresort.com/activities/summer-activities/bike-park/lift-tickets-season-passes/
  22. Had two P111s and really liked them for all around trail riding. After I installed a 2* headset and 40mm offset CSU, it felt like a whole different bike. How about this then: LLS is a bit pointless here as 90% of the riding averages around 5mph while negotiating a series of switchback, switchback, switchback, ledge, ledge, switchbacks.
