  1. Whitestone is also doing online for beer and food. They also deliver for something like $6-8.
  2. He can start saving the economy by stuffing some steel in his mouth on public television. When, not if this gets into the capitol he's gonna be first in line for testing and treatment. F%CK HIM!!!!!
  3. Tons of people on the hike and bike today. Even saw groups of track and field kids running??? Before this you couldn't get someone outside with a stick of dynamite. As soon as they're told to stay home and away from people I guess they think "you know maybe I should go for a walk". WTF?
  4. Just got done doing 20 miles on the gravel bike. I highly doubt the trails will be ready tomorrow. There was a lot of areas on the H&B with standing water. Trails looked very soupy from what I could see.
  5. I personally directed that at you!(and me)
  6. This is encouraging information. This is also the direction we should be heading. Hopefully the powers that be can stop their bickering and start working together. I'm appalled by the political interjection the news media puts into so many reports. We're too deep in this to be arguing about who's at fault. If we can't come together as not only a nation but a species the outcome is going to be grim.
  7. For future reference it's "MICK" or "DIRTY MICK" for the Irish.πŸ˜‚
  8. Haden't even considered calling it the "Chinese virus" not even from the beginning, not out of PC but I was like it's a virus from China. As a country that's feeding millions we're not much better in how we raise our food sources. This could have easily started right here in the US.
  9. Weights in the garage. Gravel bike today. Haven't been on bike in a while. It's gonna hurt.
  10. Not getting on a soapbox here but it might be something to consider about riding MTB. We understand that there is risk involved in riding trails especially technical ones. I'll probably stick to my gravel bike for the foreseeable future. I certainly don't want to be responsible for taking up bedspace or adding to the work load that our hospitals and health care workers are facing right now. I know I can get hurt on my gravel bike but the risk of that is considerably less then with MTB. JMPO.
  11. I had issues with my XT brakes when I built my FS. I contacted Shimano and they responded by having me bring it to my local shop. I took it to Peddler and Mike was like yeah we'll take care of it. He initially tried a deep bleed for a temporary fix and ordered a new set of brakes. I brought the bike back and left it for a day or two, when I picked it up I asked what I owed and he said nothing. I went next door to Redhorn and got a $50 gift card for the shop. Good bunch of guys. Mike no longer works there though.
  12. Oh great now you've completely jinxed us!
  13. I'll put this up here. Have the original Alex 700C wheel set that came on my Kona. I'd let go cheap. $50. Comes with cassette and rubber, rear tire is worn though.. 12x142 rear 12x100 front.
  14. Are those the Spyres? I have those on my Private Jake they work fine but they do need constant adjustment as the pads wear. Wondering if better pads might help.
  15. I'm just hoping my cats don't wind up eating me😬
  16. Yeah I understood. Just posted that because if there are two strains of virus the numbers will be skewed.

  18. I had heard this a few days ago. https://www.newscientist.com/article/2236544-coronavirus-are-there-two-strains-and-is-one-more-deadly/
  19. Starting today shelter in place for me and the wife. One of the issues with this though is that it's going to split families all over. We have our adult kids over for a Sunday meal every week. Moving forward I've expressed to the wife that Sunday meals are going to have to be put on hold until further notice. Let's just say that she was not happy with this. It's going to be hard if anyones loved ones become ill with this and we're helpless to give them care basically leaving them to fend for themselves. The sad truth is that we're going to have to take these steps to help slow the spread.
  20. Interesting article. As a global society we need to work together instead of trying to lay blame for this. If we can't work together globally this is going to stay around for a long time. Making public references and calling names is not the answer. We're going to need help from everyone to get this under control. Time will tell and we're going to see what the human race is really like. I truly hope that we band together instead of trying to pretend everyone else is an enemy. https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/latamcaribbean/2020/03/18/cuba-and-coronavirus-how-cuban-biotech-came-to-combat-covid-19/
  21. Just a heads up Whitestone brewery will start doing home delivery of there beer for those who might run low
