cody
I've been too lazy to sell my old bike so it's probably dropped half its value sitting in my garage for 2 years. 2013 Salsa Spearfish, medium frame (green) 100mm front Rockshox Recon Gold TK fork Sram X7-X9 components, 2x10 80mm rear suspension (Rockshox) 29 inch wheels (quick release) Upgrades: Race Face Turbine Cinch cranks, Cane Creek 40 headset Will throw in an old first-gen Reverb 125 with a bad IFP. Maybe worth servicing? $600 OBO
Seths Pool
interested for sure. can you send me pics. I will talk to him today when he comes in the office. I'll need to look at the numbers about that medium frame. he is like 5' 11" - 6'
RidingAgain
How tall is he? I have a xlg frame that slightly on the smaller size, so would fit 6' up. I could build it up with parts that I have, but he would need to provide a 120mm fork with a straight steerer tube.

RidingAgain
This...https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/specialized-stumpjumper-fsr/6753895265.html Don't worry about the price... I'll work with you. Pretty much got everything else that a starter needs... Except the fork. I think it will work for someone 6' because the TT length is on the short side (at least for me at 6'4"). Put a short stem on it and some back sweep handlebars. See geometry here... https://geometrygeeks.bike/bike/specialized-stumpjumper-fsr-120-2006/ Got great reviews... See one here... https://www.bikeradar.com/us/gear/category/bikes/mountain-bikes/product/review-specialized-bicycles-stumpjumper-fsr-comp-9016/

mack_turtle
I stopped by the north side Performance Bike the other day and they have quite a few good deals for Black Friday/ closeouts that are worth checking out. They are closing that store permanently as well. I was impressed with some of Marin's offerings. I'm 5'11" and fit the Salsa fine, as they run a little larger than other brands (currently on a Large Santa Cruz Hightower that fits me well). Edit: Here is a link to the specs: https://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/2012_spearfish_3 -- Note the upgrades mentioned above. It will also come with an extra front wheel (Stan's Arch ZTR) as well as some nearly unused ODI lock on grips.
