RidingAgain
I always enjoy seeing what folks can come up with. Coming from the islands, where imported things were always pretty expensive, DIY was kind of just a normal part of everyday life... And sometimes things worked out really well... Other times not so much. And then there were the disasters. I came across this little hack that I thought interesting as it involved quite a few bits and pieces... Love the naming of the part, "ANTI-NOISE"... And the music choice... Edited April 10, 2019 by RidingAgain

mack_turtle
That looks janky and it's going to break. I am all for DIY hacks, but flimsy plastic pulleys, nah.
RidingAgain
All prototypes need refining. They are there to be improved on. This fella just figured out something to meet his need. That's be be congratulated, not crapped on.

But, due to the socks with sandals he is immediately disqualified.

RedRider3141
Ok, but here's the thing. In 9 years, 3 bikes and 5 drive trains I have never needed one of these. What am I doing right/wrong that my chain stays on? I always see hack videos of people making these things yet I've never understood the need.
