  1. Well, if they ever got some real land managers in there (seems unlikely), and Team Toilet Paper were made to build their own downhill lines, instead of using the XC uphills - those glory days could perhaps be repeated!

  2. You may be familiar with Flat Creek Crossing Ranch by Pedernales Falls as just a riding venue, but it's much more that that. It's part of Child, Inc: To learn more about Child, Inc and to donate: Amplify Day of Giving: Child, Inc

  3. Last time I was there[early summer last year] the trails were awesome and more fun than they have ever been in the 22 years I've been going to FC.

  4. Only just saw this, for some reason - I was the sweep. Great to see Mr and Mrs June Bug (who gave me much needed water), plus cold brews from Ridenfools cool van after. Good times!

  5. There are some arrows up from several races, but the ribbons are all down. Generally, the arrows make good guidelines. If you find yourself needing a reference, use MTBProject and follow the "Rocky Hill Ranch Loop" (a recommended route in MTBProject). The new sections still need some work before they are open for riders. Several bridges need to be built. You should have plenty to enjoy. I'll be out there tomorrow as well, doing some mapping and noting section mileages, so a slow plod about the place. I'll be on a white Specialized Levo with a green full face helmet. Say hi if you spot me out there.

  6. I sure miss those ride days you used to host out there. The route at the time was only around 7 or 8 miles, but it was some of the sweetest single track around. Two or three laps followed by cold beer and some eats always made it worth the trip!

  8. Just noted some barnacles on the fork in the photo. Might there be some attachment points for a bike rack on the rear triangle? Can't quite tell from the photo. New bikes and rain? Passé. This bike may have unleashed the polar vortex:
