  1. It's been that way for a few weeks, the log came loose and HoneyBadger just hasn't had time to put it back together safely.
  2. I say keep it however you like it since it’s your feature and your hard work. I’ll take my 27.5 hardtail out there and I bet I’d be fine.
  3. Yeah, it’s much longer than my other bikes. I did check it again today by walking it and it’s possible, but there’s a point that would require the front tire to be half on the boards and the rear half on at the same time.
  4. I have a GG Smash as well, And I’ve walked it on this feature to test and it’s just too long. I haven’t had a chance yet, but I’d guess my hardtail or old Felt full suspension could make it.....with the right rider.
  5. I rode at sunrise this morning and the log was back. I think all the moving back and forth has made it loose and stick up much higher, but had I not seen this post i wouldn't have known it was removed.
  6. There was a post about some brushy trails by a trail forks volunteer. I can’t remember the name of the fb post, but I think @First Blood or @rugger responded to him.
  7. Along the lines of the main trail tourists, the alternate route is open again so you can skip the dam to get to/from the trail east of brushy creek park. The dam gets crowded, but alt route is wide open. only part I don’t like is coming from brushy to champions, the wall they built closest to champions is kinda blind to cars coming out of the new neighborhood, so be aware.
  8. Next time I ride out there I may just bring a chair so I can sit and watch the attempts.
  9. I walked up to the top of that yesterday before work was completed and this video does not show the real scope of how tall this feature is.
  10. Was this the trail that leads to the bridge that was missing at least one plank? If so, maybe the bridge gave way? Of course, this doesn’t explain the other stuff you saw.
  11. I would guess it will be a call made on Friday. HoneyBadger has been hard at work on certain sections as I've seen new drainage trenches in a few areas the past few rides. I hope it doesn't get postponed.
  12. Now that's a hell of an idea. We have that type of program at my work too. Only problem is that I'm commission based, so getting paid a very minimal hourly wage doesn't justify it. I like that way of thinking though, well played.
  13. I can see the general line, but you're right, it looks so much different now. Just think if this continued to the east side and how much has changed over there.
  14. I wish I had longer clips of each rider, but the terrain out there only allowed for close up clips. Plus, those guys were hauling through rough spots, very impressive.
  15. For those of you not on Facebook and the MTB group where I posted these yesterday, here are some clips from the stages I was at for the Cat Mountain race. Keep in mind I was using an Iphone and this was my first time editing videos together. Enjoy. Stage 1 Stage 3 Stage 7 Stage 8
  16. Now that I think about it, when i was out there on Saturday I came across a father and daughter going the wrong way. They said they saw an arrow pointing the other direction, so I had them take me to the spot. One of the paver arrows was turned and pointing the wrong direction so I fixed it. I didn't think there could be others that had been moved.
  17. Do you have a Strava screen shot? I might be able to see if you jumped trail by accident.
  18. The Suburban Ninja trail system starts at the Peddler so there is lots of dirt to test on.....assuming it isn't too wet.
  19. Day was amazing, but brought out so many. I had 3 near collisions on 1/4 notch on blind corners I decided today was a day to head home before something bad happened. I was even looking out for it and still had close calls.
  20. I second that, it was a great time.
  21. I'm sure HoneyBadger will see this, but I'll bring it up tomorrow morning for the work day as a reminder.
  22. Damn, I wish I had posted up I was there, but not racing. If you stayed after, I was handing out raffle tickets. I had to be back in Austin, so I had to jet out around 3.
  23. Good to know. I was just messing around with it to figure it out.
  24. Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but my google maps app has a “bicycle” overlay that lights up the regional trail and connector trails. I would think those would be gravel bike friendly.
  25. If that map is accurate, the last part near the Peddler's Shop looks like it would go right through parts of SN. Hopefully the contractor will work with AJ to try and not destroy too much of the trail like when the new concrete was poured near Peddler's Pass.
