  1. And now for something even more different
  2. you have good taste
  3. After some convincing, got the wife up into the franklin mtn foothills today. She was far from stoked with some of the steep climbs, but the scenery and feeling of accomplishment was worth it. Plus the weather was killer today.
  4. Hit the foothills trail in Franklin state park with the Mrs on Sunday. Man that place has gotta be the best TX State park when it comes to MTB trails. Climbing back out is so steep, but the vistas are totally worth it! https://www.trailforks.com/trails/lower-foothills-4626/
  5. Has it really been a 4 year project for a hardtail frame?
  6. Dude, that was indeed an asshander for sure. I might be down around April and would be up for it. Thankfully riding a mile above sea level for a year has helped the fitness for the low country a bit. That is until the humidity kicks in๐Ÿคฃ
  7. Better half enjoying some of those sunny Chihuahuan desert trails.
  8. Its very handy to have around when you're riding trails out of state/country ETC, but for local stuff it seems like a waste.
  9. I was certainly feeling my age on some of those slabs.
  10. I did the same. Used MTB project app yesterday in AZ. It was good enough to get me back on the trail I wanted. All that trailforks data was crowdsourced from users and as usual, big business gets involved ruins something great.
  11. 50 year is officially my favorite AZ trail network. Such great stuff out here in the Catalina foothills .
  12. Sharp eye๐Ÿ˜Ž Sweetwater is the wife's favorite new Tucson trail network.
  13. Brown mountain outside of saguaro national park, west of Tucson.
  14. Okay, that's officially awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. Cool! It's such a rad little town. Lots of MJK options there. Next to Bisbee, Jerome is one of our favorite AZ stops. The Jerome Grand hotel is supposed to be super haunted too. Currently in southern Arizona for the next 10 days and gonna hit up the southern wine country while here. Lastly, glad to see you're still alive ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Northern AZ is always a nice place to demo a bike. We'd also hit up Jerome AZ while there. IMHO way cooler than Sedona. Especially if you're a Maynard Keenan fan.
  17. Congratulations man! After riding @Chief bike, the rascal was on the top of a very short list when I lived in Austin. The Canfield suspension platform works so well out there.
  18. Trek Factory DH just did the same
  19. Bad thing is it's not just the camps that need removing.
  20. There's going to be a large loss in viewership next season for sure. They'll bundle it with all the other crappy sports stuff so it will buried during the shareholder meetings. Agree that eventually it wont make sense economically for them to carry on hosting and broadcasting the events. My fear is what damage will be done by then. From what I understand one big production movie broke even this year. One. Big media is dead, and I can't wait for the funeral.
