  1. Some people you just can't teach because they don't want to learn.
  2. And now for something different...
  3. When BCRT gets that much rain it usually takes a long time before it's rideable. The retention pond near my house was just dry after the last rain and now has about three feet of water.
  4. Shockwiz doesn't work on all suspensions. I know that for a DVO Diamond it's useless due to the fork having a negative preload spring.
  5. I do know how you like them stiff!
  6. All in all you basically want the front and rear of the bike to feel the same. Once you find the sweet spot for your suspension you'll know right away when something doesn't feel right. Like the Shockcraft setup guide states you should be able to get a feeling for the suspension by frequency.
  7. That's a pretty good setup guide that gets you really close.
  8. Grohl was Nirvanas drummer.
  9. How do people not know Dave Grohl played drums?🤷‍♂️
  10. If you want a smoker that really works well consider a Weber Smokey Mountain. You can load it up with enough fuel to maintain 250 degrees for around 12 hours. It also has a small foot print not taking up much space. Mine is the 18.5 inch and can easily smoke two briskets at the same time. Some examples, this is a five hour brisket, size was around thirteen pounds.
  11. I have multiple shock pumps. Standard 300psi Rockshox, 600psi Rockshox and a digital Fox pump. The digital is good for suspension that is sensitive to small psi changes. As far as accuracy they're probably all off a bit. Basically set your suspension to whatever psi gets you where you need to be and use that as your reference. Same goes for tire pressures.
  12. This might be of some help. This guy is pretty smart about suspension. http://www.shockcraft.co.nz/media/wysiwyg/shockcraft_1_page_suspension_setup_guide_v0.pdf
  13. Walked Snail with the wife and dogs last night. A total swamp up on top. I was amazed at how much water was up there. I figured the high areas would be drained off.
  14. Just the act of sitting on a dropper while riding even moderately rough terrain causes more force than just about anything else.
  15. For Sale DT Swiss 27.5 XM521 32h rims laced to Hope Pro4 hubs with DT Swiss comp spokes and Sqourx nipples. Wheels have about 5 rides on them basically new. Asking $450.00.
  16. I've got two but they're BrandX. Same exact dropper only cheaper. Chainreaction had them on sale for $107.
  17. Because "Eighth Notch" was already taken.
  18. I just saw scooters as far north as 183 and Burnet Road yesterday. 183 and Burnet Road? Pretty busy place for these ridiculous transportation devices. As far as injuries you never see any of the people riding them wearing a helmet. We seem to think because it's not a car or motorcycle you don't need a helmet. Most fatal and serious head injuries occur at less than fifteen MPH. People that ride these things without prior experience or a helmet are just giving us an example of Darwins theory in action. I think all it's going to take is a few good lawsuits to curb this latest fad.
  19. Rode this morning. 1/4 notch has usual standing water in low shaded areas other than that GTG. Get out and ride!
  20. How about a little metal with your funk?
  21. saw these guys at Stubb's 2008
  22. So far Nobby Nics have been a pretty good tire for here. Longest lasting tires I've had yet. No missing or torn lugs. Maybe not the grippiest but they do Ok.
  23. At this show for my first concert.
  24. Love the guitar in this. Kinda chilling and eery.
