It seems confusing but really all the other trails are either a loop back to where it started or you come out real close to where you started. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Quick question for everyone... How do y'all feel about helmets or at least riders who dont wear helmets. Go>>> Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Where's the Brushy Creek thread

It died when I asked for people to pitch in and trim up Deception. Hahahah Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
So I got to ride all of Deception for first time in awhile. It really needs a good haircut. I'll try and do bits here and there when I can. But if anyone feels froggy and wants to help just take a pair of loppers or hand saw and have at it. I know there is semi downed tree on the beginning of Double Down. I'll get that done soon. I rode 1/4 Notch last night. Everything was 99 percent good. Just a few spots that were soft here and there. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Are you admitting to be biased against older people? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

The key is indeed straight up. You need to get a good burst upto the first ledge and try and be as light as possible up to the second ledge. Then place front tire on face of second ledge and as long as your momentum is good you just shift weight and lunge hips to bars and stand up and pedal out. Simple right? There is an alt line to the right if you are going UP that feature. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

So it's a double ledge. The top ledge is limestone with lots of holes and sharp edges. Looks like a sponge. Similar limestone to LGT if familiar. Going East to West it is a drop so to speak ...the approach is slight uphill with a near about 90 ish turn at the top. It used to be a true 90 but we re routed to swing out wider for lime of sight and huck-a-bility. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Gotta come ride it when the trail actually hooks up. Had a great time at the race even though I put down my worst times ever. I tried riding it how i know it can be ridden and that was killing me. The tandem race was fun as hell though! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I dont disagree but simple fence will stop a ton of people from just making a mess of that area. It would be a natural resource Cedar post fence. Not like a yard Cedar fence. It has worked just fine along the BCRT picnic areas. Majority of people respect it and will go where the sign posted on the fence says to go. The goal is to be simple for Ronan right when the trail needs to be closed. Having four chains to hang isnt simple. Having 1 or 2 is. That's why I feel a simple fence will mostly work. Have you ever stopped and looked at that one open area by ball fields. There are beaten paths all over the place. It wont take but another year or so with popularity increasing to have a tangle of beaten paths from people entering in freely. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Unfortunately that ONE chain will only stop a few. IMO We need to build a fence at a few spots. Particularly at the ridgeline access area. It's so wide open and people came in and out there. It would be hard to setup a chain there. We could do Cedar posts but with that area so wide people will just go around it. If there was a fence eliminating that area as an access point it would help. You can even post a map on tje fence with where the trailhead is etc. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
