  1. We have re-opened our offices, with rules in place for non-vaccinated people. The problem is that I'm not allowed to ask. I know there are people acting like they got their jabs, when I know they didn't. I don't think they present a danger to anyone else in the office, except each other, but they should be honest about it.
  2. People have the right to not get the vaccine. If they choose to go that route, they need to follow the rules for non-vaccinated people. That may mean that they can't enter certain facilities etc, but that is their choice.

So there are a few examples of the brits being shitty, and all brit fans suck now? I'm sure I can find examples like that for every team. Fun with generalizations.
  4. I don't agree with the way some of this was handled, but I am hoping that we get as close to 100% vaccinated as possible...soon.

  6. I carried for years, but not anymore. I never came close to needing a gun. I have used pepper spray on a road rage person.
  7. With Constitutional Carry becoming law on Sept. 1st, this is probably going to become more common. People that are against it just need to not try to run people over.
  8. So many things have to go right, stressful launch and deployment for a lot of people. https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/nasa-announces-new-james-webb-space-telescope-target-launch-date

The BB7's (AB is gifting a set right now for anyone that's interested) really do work well.
  10. I sit pretty much in the middle of the responses to Covid, but I am 100% on the side of getting back to normal. That means getting everyone vaccinated. I have tried to understand the reasons that people have for not doing it, but none of them make any sense.
  11. Australia closed their borders, and appeared to be waiting it out. They seemed to be doing everything right, and I was *shocked* to find out about their extremely low numbers for vaccinations. I guess I just assumed that they would be among the leaders.
  12. US health officials warn against disparities in vaccinations, as 1,000 US counties have rates below 30 percent. There are literally no reasons for not making an appointment and getting jabbed. No waits for vaccines any more, just make an appointment and show up.
  13. This is something that I will never be able to accomplish.
  14. Holy crap, doing my research on plastics, and how we misuse them. We (the planet) buy a million plastic bottles EVERY SINGLE MINUTE! WTactualF? Plastic recycling is a myth for the most part.
  15. Forum price $100. https://austin.craigslist.org/bop/d/pflugerville-hammerhead-karoo/7346053170.html
  16. Been using Davey Tree for years. Very professional company.
  17. Just got all caught up. Pretty fun show, could have been a LOT more brutal. Watching the Tomorrow War right now.
  18. Perfect today. There were a LOT of women runners. Looked like a group event. Lots of bright tags hanging around marking the course I'd guess. The really cool thing...no headphones and every time I came up behind some of them I rang my bell once, they moved over, we exchange *Good Morning* greetings and a smile, and went on our merry way. Done by 9am, great morning.
