Speaking of local billionaire, the guy who just bought the Camelback track here at 360 and the lake/2222 is sort of a mountain biker. Back in the HH days we sold him a crazy blingy bike. Not sure if he ever really got the bike bug though.

Thats pretty much it.

Tejas is a privatized state with little to no rideable public land. What is available is overcrowded, and will only get worse, plus most of it isnt that great to ride anyway. There are some standouts like brushy, but how many people can share that area at one time? IMHO, our planning needs to reflect this. Places like RPR, RHR, Spider,FCR,FCC are really the only sustainable future here for mountain biking. The more wealthy landowners we can work with to build trails on, the better. Until then im down with paying memberships so i dont have to say sorry every 5 minutes to some doofus walking their dog wearing earbuds.

Or...

You could become more active than just throwing a hundred+ bucks at the problem... Hoping others will solve the problem for you.

We're meeting Sunday morning at Walnut creek at 8:30 to fix trails. I'll see you there?
