  1. Thanks. I wanted to be sure because I ran into a couple while riding yesterday and kindly told them as I past that they were riding the wrong way. Dude immediately was mad and said, “There’s no signs and you aren’t the trail boss.” I stopped and tried to explain that most people ride it one diection, but he still wasn’t having it. I told him to have a nice ride and kept on my way. He is right that there aren’t any directional signs on the west side. If I could help with that, I would be more than happy to. Who would I talk to? Or can I just get some made and post them up?

  2. This is awesome. I like the change in approach towards work days. Sadly I am booked up but I hope you get a good turnout.

  3. Most wheelsets will defaults to XD driver. You can either replace the hub body to Shimano, which is typically available and easy to do, Or just run a SRAM cassette for 11 speed. not sure on 10 speed.

  4. What you’re looking for absolutely exists but as time goes on HG hubs are becoming much less common. That is your bottle neck. I literally just sold the exact wheel-set you are looking for 1 month ago!

  5. Did the Enduro climb up Mont Sainte Anne. Pretty tired but the fall scenery was amazing. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

  6. Nice ride at Pedernales Falls today. I recently got a new waist hydration pack that doesn’t have room for a pump, so my pump was in my wife’s pack and she wasn’t with me. My back tire was at 8 psi at the beginning of the ride and I just told myself I would be careful and borrow someone’s pump if I ran into another rider. I only encountered one rider and he didn’t have a pump either. The ride was 14 miles long and included some of the Juniper Ridge trail and my low tire did just fine.

  8. You find you are sore and tired more often than not and have come to accept this as a normal state of being You've lost weight, muscle tone has improved, and you've pulled the belt in several notches You dream about trail design in your sleep, and most of your waking thoughts are spent contemplating which of those dreams to act upon next The trail tool collection expands, and you ponder upon how many of your Ryobi tools can be used for trail work (pole saw, reciprocating saw, chainsaw, hedge trimmer, weed eater, leaf blower, screw gun, mower,...) You have a separate trail-work-only hydration pack (with a charged Ryobi battery tucked inside) You have accepted as norminal that you are spending an order of magnitude more hours building trail than you are riding them When you do ride, you hang a Fiskers 15" Power Gear Lopper on the pack's waist belt and stop often to trim offending flora The biggest decision to be dealt with on most days is over whether to work on new trail or maintain existing trail So-called "responsibilities" routinely take a back seat to the trail-related pursuits Is there a twelve step program I should be looking into about this? 🤷‍♂️
