I rode at 8 am, not a single rider in 90 minutes. Trails were great. Only mulligan was muddy in the usual spots. Did all picnic, snail, 1/4 notch and everything was perfect.
I was very surprised to see that yesterday when I rode. Plenty of space to avoid it Or even just easily roll it. I got some courage together and cleared it. This section made me love walnut all over again! Super stoked and many thanks to the builders
No way Thomas! So sad to hear about this. I really enjoyed riding with you again and I’m looking forward to more. I hope you get better soon my friend.
I thought it would be muddy at brushy so I headed to reville peak ranch. It was super dry.
got a few clips. Super stoked I conquered the steps with the drop on super d
To be honest I rode walnut muddy many times 5 years ago and I had no idea I was messing up the trail. I just met two other bikers that didn’t know either at brushy. “Isn’t mud part of mountain biking?” they understood when I explained. I think many just don’t know about the potential damage
I had a neck/shoulder operation from a tumor removal 5 years ago and it has taken me many years to feel strength again and full movement on my shoulder and trapezius on my right hand. Even a jacket feels heavy for me. I have been patient and stretch as much as I can remember. I think biking has been the best motivation
Missed it today, my tire burped almost flat and my pump broke while trying to get air in. Had a nice morning hike on 1/4 notch. Trails are perfect for riding, go get some
There is nice all size drops at brushy. I think that is a beginner loop and should stay friendly for beginners. Just not to be selfish because I personally like the drop
I am ok with drops but did it too fast once and almost ended in the creek 😂. My wife also went otb there once but she tried to follow my line after being warned so it was all on her. I do think it is a little dangerous compared to the rest of the loop. I am glad it can be kept amd made safer
Don't like to hear this, I know you have the skill
already to do all the drops at brushy and I know you would love it. Waiting for you to recover. I have morning riding time again
