  1. They also used to have a store on Springdale just north of MLK.
  2. Ulisses and Michael are top notch bike people also
  3. I'll miss their cheap Shimano parts. I always thought the south store had a better selection of everything and was better organized and staffed. I usually walk out of the north store nifted for 1 reason or another. Obviously, I wouldn't let them touch any of my bikes.
  4. Prime example here of carbon bars ready to shit the bed. Look to be in good shape at first glance and then I put my glasses on. They have been over clamped at both ends and at the stem. The cloudy spots look to be some separation going on. Put these on your bike and you'll have Weyless teeth.
  5. All the replacement parts you need are available. Probably might find a whole used clamp assembly in good shape on ebay.
  6. Upped my capacity a little bit too. Now I can work on 3 bikes at the same time and use my portable as a dedicated wash stand.
  7. Something had to be done. Still need to put a shelf or 2 on the inside but it's a major improvement as it is. Was wasting too much time grabbing stuff out of my box. Now I can keep all the essentials on the bench not in a pile.
  8. I wipe seals clean and lube them lightly with a little fork oil on a Qtip, keeps them happy. I do this before every ride, 2 minutes well spent.
  9. Every garage needs one of these
  10. It's a 2 or 3 day cycle that goes from spotless to crap back to spotless.
  11. Swope Park is right at 435 and Gregory, keep going left after entering the park and the trail head will be on the left before the golf course.
  12. Sorry the pic offends. I've been busy getting shit done, not storing and organizing.
  13. I know exactly where everything is buried.
  14. Heading up to Kansas City early tomorrow morning. Thinking about a picnic and a little All American to stretch out and hit the road again. Wish I had more time. Buddy that I'm visiting up in KC lives a mile from Swope Park, It's kind of the Walnut Creek of KC with a lot more climbing, probably 18-20 miles worth of trails built and maintained by the local club.
  15. Can't do a good job without the proper tools.
  16. Read somewhere in a trade rag recently that ebikes accounted for 35% of bike sales in Europe last year. I'm all for them on the streets, trails not so much.
