TheX
Yesterday was 20 years since I quit drinking. Did it to quit smoking, and I still don't smoke so Wo0Ho0! Not smoking is worth never drinking again.
Barry
Congrats. "I had a good friend in NY city" (Rochester) who quit drinking so he would stop smoking weed. I suppose I'm lucky that I don't have an additional vice tied to drinking--except perhaps snacking.
natas1321
That's awesome, I gave up alcohol and coffee for new years last year and still am going without. Who knows maybe I will continue it for the next year. Sent from my moto g(7) supra using Tapatalk
throet
Fortunately I was able to give up smoking (cigarettes and weed) without giving up drinking. Even gave up cigars a few years ago, although I'm starting to think at my age I may as well enjoy a damn cigar now and again (especially when sipping on some fine bourbon). The few times I have quit drinking for extended periods, my ice cream intake went way up, which was way worse. Hats off to those who have quit drinking. And for what's its worth, I'd probably give up alcohol before I'd give up coffee.
TheX
I was lucky, I cross addicted to the gym and bicycles.

Sluggo
Weed has been good to me.
Ericbike6
Gave up all carbonated drinks about 18 months ago, no real desire to go back to them. Gave up most alcohol also, expect for the occasional vodka drink. Now THC, aka edibles have been ver good to me, except for the munchies. Pro tip, CBD edible before the THC edible is the way to go. And the new "fast acting" edibles from WANA, are great, and do as they claim!! So congrats to anyone who can kick any habit, its a PITA for sure

Pretty much this^ There's no fast food, ice cream, sweets, soda, juice, bread, chips or much anything processed in a box that we eat out of. Hell, basically gave up milk when my kid had to stop drinking it and I fucking loved milk for 40+ years. However, I'm more than willing to give up most anything if i can still make a pitstop at the booze and coffee cabinet. It's for the good of society😁 19 hours ago, TheX said: Yesterday was 20 years since I quit drinking. Did it to quit smoking, and I still don't smoke so Wo0Ho0! TheX
I have never liked milk, never understood how people drank the stuff. Most food that people consider convenient is death. I make what I eat, nothing out of a box.
natas1321
Milk is one thing I do like, and probably drink about a quart a day. Sent from my moto g(7) supra using Tapatalk
TheX
I hate black pepper too, can't stand the taste at all. I have red pepper in my grinder. I know I deep in the minority on this one.
