  1. I used a 32T/22T front (triple w/bashguard on outer ring), 12-28 cassette (9spd SRAM road cassette) on my 575 for years, until I upgraded to a new 1x11 setup (put a narrow wide in place of the 32T on same cranks, removed the 22T; kept the bashguard.)
  2. Not too bad. Really need to change playback speed to 1.5, though. :)
  3. Thanks for the tips. For now, I'm cheating with a tube. When time for new tire, I'll set it back up tubeless. I'm a bit impatient and didn't want to wait for it to dry out, then clean, then attempt the patch, then wait to see if patch holds.
  4. Setup a pair of Hans Dampf for tubeless this spring, been working great so far. However, tore (cut?) a nice hole right between knobs. Even with a plug, it won't hold air. Tore coming down Mulligan drop at BC. Made it down ok, but air was gone by time I hit the sidewalk. Any place in town sell Schwalbe Tires? I can order one, but wanted to see if there was any place local to pick up another Hans Dampf. Pics: sealant drained on ground. Dripping sealant with plug sticking out (still won't seal)
  5. No one's gonna like this one:
  6. No pic ('cause I'm at work and it's dusty and hidden on the 2nd shelf of tv stand) but have a Pro-Ject Carbon table. I also have that same Saturn V on a shelf (and a partial LEGO Millenium Falcon on coffee table) 🙂
  7. What I've been listening to in recent months. First was Stranger Things soundtrack. Then a couple video game OSTs. Youtube synthwave mixes. Dark synthwave to Darksynth: https://ironskullet.com/2018/05/14/why-darksynth-deserves-its-own-genre/
  8. Was too interesting to pass up. Pretty damn good, too. 10% abv Lime/Tequila gose.
  9. Yep. Missed the live shot by about 30 mins (driving to work.) Listened to Everyday Astronaut exclaim his delight at being present. Hopefully they do more of this type of stuff, with ship being built now, in not too distant future. Really want to head down there and see it in person.
  10. At least it wasn't an accidental cut/paste of a weird hentai fetish site. That would've been awkward.
  11. OR....several people in front of you, you ring your bell, they SPLIT and step off to BOTH sides, giving you only a narrow path between them. Move left or right, I don't care, but PLEASE go the same way. So much easier to go around than squeeze between. Why don't people get that?
  12. So far, at least at Brushy, I've only encountered non-leashed dogs. Their people tend to panic when they see a mountain bike coming towards them, but the dog's are usually out of the way on their own.
  13. Just picked up a 64oz growler of Red Horn Caribbean Headband....sour with mango, guava and a couple other things. Very delicious after a round of Brushy.
  14. I've been using a pair of either Baleaf underwear shorts, with a thin/light short-shorts on top or a pair of slightly longer Desoto Tri shorts. Yeah, they show a bit more leg than OTHERs might be comfortable seeing, but I dgaf; cool is cool.
  15. First time I'd ever been to that ditch, some younger guy/kid was about to go down that first lip, with some friends waiting for him. I didn't see what exactly happened, but the green slime gave me a clue. All I heard was crash/thud/Uhnghhh!!! Nope, not going down there.
  16. HEB. Parmer/McNeil. You can use Dogfish Head's Fishfinder to locate where it might be close to you. https://www.dogfish.com/brewery/fishfinder Quite a few places have it locally.
  17. Just picked up a sixer of Slightly Mighty. Pretty tasty for 95 cals.
  18. I've used the hanging placards a couple times, though even then rarely. When I shattered my ankle, I used it as I was on crutches for a couple months. When I had shoulder surgery, I just parked further away, where parking was more open, usually.
  19. Tried a sixer of this about a month ago. It was ok. I recently tried a Dogfish Head Super Eight and was surprised I actually liked it. Not as refreshing as their Sea Quench, but still pretty good.
  20. I was actually thinking that the bottom part of the stem might get clogged. Or is it just the valve core that gets that way? I was thinking after removing the core (and I guess replacing), the base part might need some cleaning, maybe a stiff pipe cleaner of some sort? Just planning ahead, I suppose. I'll refresh the sealant this weekend and carry on, then look into getting some spare bits.
  21. I have a few of those, but only the one removal tool. I'll look into getting both the extra valves and tool. Anyone know which convenience stores sell those little ziplocs? They make great small parts storage...:)
  22. Only been riding on them since March. Still have the E13s from last year, but really didn't like them for the riding I do. Not the best tires for this terrain. Still have 'em, and they're fine, but wanted something a little more suitable. I ride slowly, so there's that.
