New bike last year had 800mm bars. Tried it out a couple rides, but were much too wide. Since I wanted a carbon bar anyway, bought a new one of those and had shop chop it to 760. Now it's pretty much perfect.

Yep. Had just made it to top of 1/4 notch, by Swag Rock, plus a few turns this way and that W-E, when rain started coming down. Turned around and headed out, but didn't quite make it before rear slipped on wet rocks. I'm counting that as a crash, so quota is met.

I have something similar, basically a stretchy tube you slide over the head after thoroughly damping it up. Cools from the evaporation of that water. Gets body warm, though, so you need to rotate it every now and again. DOES work, mostly, but I found that used while riding tends to evaporate it too fast. Seems to work better at a slower pace (not moving at bike speed) If it's really hot and I'm riding, I really want that air flow around the neck.

One reason I want to avoid TOO late in the day. I usually start about 5-6. Started at 730 last night. Many more active bunnies and I presume more snake activity at that time.

Yeah, humid mornings are awful. Afternoons are HOT, but at least the humidity is much lower.

Was just out there. The climb up to it also is a pain. Might have to ride W-E then stop to session that spot. Rode my normal E-W and again was really tired when I got there, heat really got to me today for some reason.

"Trail feature" then? Either way, pretty sure it's mostly in my head, as well as being a bit tired at that point. I don't have issue with anything else before or after that spot, but I've yet to ride through there without fucking something up, either by making it up the rock then riding into the trees or focusing on pointing through the middle of the trees and spinning out on the rock. Or something. I'll session it tomorrow, maybe break that mental habit.

I normally do just that, and do fine on just about every other ledge. This one always jacks me, though.

That's it, I'm sure. Really need to stop and check lines for proper ride-thru. I seem to get stuck looking at the ledge, and only the ledge, then riding into either tree.

No, a few twist and turns before that. There's a slight incline, then at the top a ledge that sits a bit diagonally across trail, with two junipers on either side of trail, a few feet apart, with another small ledge just a bit more than a bike length beyond that. Been meaning to get pics and ask about it, as I'm sure it has a name of some sort.

Heard this guy for the first time when he opened for the G3 Tour a long time ago. About 10 years ago, I got to see him play a house concert. In a house, in Circle C. Was awesome.

That spongebob always stopped me cold, couldn't get myself to ride down it. Then I saw a video of someone doing it and it looked REAL easy. So next I was out there, I rode down it. It was easy. I almost never ride West-East, but next time I do, I'll stop and session that spot going up. So far, the only spot I really hate is the ledge between the 2 junipers. It's not even that big but I ALWAYS hit the fucking tree. Anyone got a vid of that (spot just a couple mins or so before Spongebob E-W)

I upgraded to the TM Warhog last year. So glad I did. Best FCS ever.

I wouldnt mind a fast.mover, but really dont want to deal with controller setup for a different jet (I am really wanting that Harrier, though). Only thing I will be getting is that HIND they announced. I can wait. Unless they suddenly release a Longbow (RIP Longbow 2)
